I Write Like. Analyze your writing!
Here's a note for those of you who are new to reading my stories. I like to write in-depth, and by in-depth; I mean it. Despite it depending on the p.o.v, I like to write professionally with synonyms of all kinds as well as correct grammar, and an accurate portrayal of characters with reasonable actions and plot twists. I try to update every month with each chapter being at the least of 5,000 words. If my story may seem too slow going when it comes to plot, then that's because I like to immerse my readers in a world that's realistic and colorful.
I feel that detail is as much as important as plot, and that it makes up the basic premises of what a successful plot can be. No matter how small any detail is within my stories, there's a reason as to why it's there. Whether it's to create more depth or signal some foreshadowing, I believe that everything happens for a reason. So, it's only natural that the aforementioned element plays a major role when I write. I like quality with reason and warm scenes that make your heart flutter. Peaceful and content prospects or angst and dramatic pictures that could tip on the side of being controversial; these are the feelings that I wish to create with and stir with my writing.
If the above description may seem too serious to your liking, then perhaps my writing is not for you. If it is, then please enjoy to your hearts content and leave a review, please! You don't want me to burn-out from being overworked, right?

I Give a Hoot! *Note: Might transfer and be inserted as a chapter in "When Time Does Linger".
One-shot, related to "Occupation Change". Ever wonder what goes on through an animal-nin's mind? Their thoughts? Their reasons? The things they hold dear as to what their world contains? Well, a certain animal-nin will be giving us this unique perspective; although, this might differ from a lot of other animal-nins. Just like his partner, Hekaer was never one for normality.

When Time does Linger
A collection of double - drabbles and side-stories pertaining to "Occupation Change," focusing on multiple characters and events that were either in, or not within, the story. Mostly a self-imposed challenge for the author to improve while exploring different characters and situations. (Detailed explanation in A/N.)

"Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player, that struts and frets his hour upon the stage, and then is heard no more; it is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing." - William Shakespeare. Mr. Shakespeare, I ask you this:
What if this idiot were to be given another role to act, an unwanted role. Should this idiot continue to act? Or not? OC Self-insert.

I'm back! Yes, I have revived! Just a lot of things have happened in the past, what, two years? Yikes, sorry to have been gone for so long, but things with school, emotions, health, social events and conduct have been hectic and very problematic until just recently. I'm back in school now, trying to apply for a job, doing some volunteer stuff and involved in choir while also trying to get back into art, so things are feeling - well, lighter now.
During my absence I was slowly working on Chapter 7: Strain of "Occupation Change," so you can expect the next chapter, but I won't say when. I fear if I set a date, I'll look towards it as work instead of something fun, making me want to procrastinate. I don't want to let you all down, so I'll just say that there will be a next chapter.
A BIG "Thank You" to the people who have reviewed, favorite, and followed any of my stories. You gave me that extra push to continue on with these stories, instead of having them stuck in my brain. So, thank you.
Story structure concerns/complaints have been presented to me about, "Occupation Change". It concerns the "Intermission" chapters.
If I were to cut it out, it would improve the flow of the story, but also leave questions remaining for those who wonder about my OC's past - making them follow another story instead of just one big clump of data.
If those chapters were left alone, it would be disjointing the plot's flow, but would be able to let readers find everything in one place; excluding the drabbles.
For those of you who are reading this, please send me your thoughts. A simple, 'keep the flashback chapters' or 'make the chapters a separate story' would be fine. In the mean time I'll try and find the time to set up a poll.
Thanks for all your support! Have a great day! :)
