It’s Glacies here - you can call me Iggy. I’m used to my old nickname. :)
I’m best known for my odd sense of humor.
Stuff Glacies Likes
- Tegami Bachi. Or Letter Bee, it doesn’t matter which. At first, I was like, 'It’s about delivering the mail. Can’t be intresting. Moving on.’ And then I watch one episode, and I’m going, ‘...pretty scenery is pretty. Must watch to see pretty scenery and possibly Gauche.’ So, the entire series is about this boy (Lag) who’s-
Let me back up. Give you a brief summary.
The entire series is about the country of Amberground and the struggles of the people who live in the country. The country is split into three sections, and the people are suffering because they have no way of contacting the people they love unless they want to walk all the way to see them, which would sort of suck. And then you’ve got an elite group of people - young and old, mostly young with the oldest being about twenty five to thirty 9because everyone older than that is usually dead) - who travel across the country, delivering the people’s hearts to each other through their letters, which allows the people to stay at home and have fun and like, not suffer.
...If you’re an optimist, you probably think that sounds really great.
If you’ve got common sense, you’d wonder why they need an elite group of people.
Because what the description doesn’t mention is that Amberground is a HORRIBLE place to live and that there is no sun over Amberground, so everyoe lives in perpetual darkness. The place is also mideveal. The best thing they have is Jiggy Pepper’s motorcycle - which they call an Iron Horse - and an airship that crashed and burned. That’s their best technology.

I WOULD DIE.
Have I mentioned the massive robot killer insects that eat your life force away until you don’t have a soul and just starve to death as an empty husk of what used to be?
Aw, shucks, I could have sworn I had.
-Amazing backgrounds. The scenes where something explodes are brilliant, and I love watching them.
-Zazie. ‘Nuff said. (He’s a Letter Bee who got his arm broken and sliced up, then hiked like, fifty miles after he got some band-aids for Round Two with the creature who did that to him. Then, he proceeded to kill it in a curbstomp battle. Without painkillers.)
-Lot’s of mind-screwiness. But only when Gauche’s involved.
-Lag cries. A lot.
-Not enough Gauche.
-Not enough Jiggy Pepper.
