About me: What do you know about me that I haven't already told you? I'm a high school student in my Senior year now, and I'm gonna make the most of it. Starting with this site, by writing as many fanfics I can within the year before I graduate, because I know college is gonna be hectic and I might not find the time at all. I'm from a province so you could say I'm a bit of a country girl, but it just so happens that my hometown is Tacloban City and I guess some of you might know what happened there. I'll tell you more about myself if you try and get to know me. And for the record, it feels good to clean my profile up from all of those crazy posts and random crap which took up more space than it should have, but that's just me. ;)

To whom it may concern,
I'd understand if I lost some readers, some friends, but mostly the people who I considered my family on this site. And I'd understand if i get flames here and there for barely updating, and I'm sure I've lost a lot of readers for Midnight Runaways, but at the same time, I can see that it gains new ones. And I'm glad, but more or less, I couldn't be more sorry for how I've been this past year. I should be updating more and I know that, but I'd like you guys to know why. Last year, on November 8th 2013, a super typhoon hit my country and it passed over my province, my city. No expected it to be that bad, and neither did we expect to have a storm surge with it. Lives were lost that day, including some of my closest friends. Everything we had, I had, was lost. It was tough trying to survive the week that came after the storm, and to think it happened on my aunt's birthday as a side note. The damage was too much, and I know that my hometown will never be the same again. What's worse was that, not only was the storm the reason our city got ruined, but by our people as well. People were hungry, desperate and became greedy at such a horrible time. Sometimes, I don't think I can call it home anymore.
What happened that day, and the weeks and months that followed would not be forgotten. It will always remain in our memories. A painful reminder of what was lost. So now, we're rebuilding, and fixing what is broken. What is beyond repair, we leave it be. I'm sorry I've neglected my stories for so long, and coming back to this site, writing again, gives me a small hope and something to do to express my emotions of what happened. I'll continue to write from now on, no excuses and pauses in between. And no more promises, because I know I'll break them.
I hope you can accept this apology guys.
Sincerely, Samantha Reyes
