I changed my pen name bc honestly too many people from school kept finding me on here from that (I used it for nearly everything) and also it didn't really represent me at all anymore...
More about me:
I'm a undergraduate college student working on my bachelors in International Business, and plan to complete a TEFL Certification Program after I graduate. I'd like to get into corporate international education, and try to get some international educative practices going in the US - because other countries are way ahead of us. To get some hands on experience with this, I'm working on the TEFL Certification so I can go teach english abroad in Japan. (And then hopefully find work elsewhere after)
I'm fluent in English, Korean, and working on fluency in Japanese.
I'm eurasian: half Korean, quarter Irish, and quarter Welsh. And because I'm REALLY tall (6"1), I get jokingly called a Half-n-half Venti by some friends. (starbucks)
I love to travel, but I also love to spend time with friends. Not really a big "party" person, I'd rather spend my day playing video games or reading or writing. Though dinner parties are nice. And relaxing. My mom used to throw Christmas parties every year (business related) and it'd be in a big ballroom and I remember enjoying the live music and talking to older people and dancing with kids my age. Those don't happen anymore but they were a lot of fun, and probably why I'm a lot better at dealing with older people than people my age 90% of the time.
Music has been a big part of my life, and I grew up with it. I've played clarinet for 9 years, and thanks to it I've been able to travel all over the place, and compete and perform in places like the National Opera House in Paris, to Carnegie Hall, and the Opening Ceremonies of the Olympic Games in 2012 (LONDON!). I was going to major in it but, well, sometimes life doesn't let you choose what you really love. Sacrifices for family, and things like that, ahahaha.
I have a few part time jobs as well, teaching local elementary students clarinet, as well as modeling and acting (since LA isn't all that far from where I live). Sometimes I get to do REALLY fun stuff that mixes my work life with my hobby life - like how I'll be modeling cosplay outfits at ALA next week!
I like to write though. It's become a hobby of mine through the years, and it's also a great way to vent - and then look at it a few days later and laugh at my messy handwriting. (It's like chicken scratch)
I am working on updating when possible, I'm aware it hasn't been for a while but I SHALL. I promise.
Thanks so much to readers who have recently started following me, and to those who have stuck around since the beginning. Much love and appreciation to all ya'll!
Feel free to PM me with ideas, or even if you just want to chat - who doesn't like to chat? hahaha
