I should post more often.

This thing is coming to close.

I can feel it.

Hey, guys, just wanted to let you know that I'm starting to work on a non-fan fiction story for my next project. It's probably high time I do. I will absolutely be finishing Vigilant, probably shortly, and if you want to check out my other fiction, I'm over at with the same username I use here.

Having a hard time deciding if I want to just finish Vigilant or write more and more filler. Because believe me, I could, but it would just be time-wasting filler at this point. I dunno. I have like one more major plot thing I want to hit before the end and I'm kind of putting it off. I guess we'll see. At work until midnight tonight so anything could happen.

Wow, guys. Very big end-of-the-month thank you, as I topped 500 views again and yesterday alone had a whopping 107. Super intense, and it definitely gives me the mojo to keep writing, which hopefully I will have more time to do lately (here is a bit of story):

I work at a library and a cafe, and previously worked for a different library. Yesterday my cafe hours were cut drastically, but right at the same time my boss from my old library texted me and asked me if I would be willing to take on a part-time position back at my old job. I, of course, told him yes, and that job offered me a lot more time to sit at a desk and write than my current one does. Long story short, I will have a lot more time to keep building this story in the very near future. The bad news is, I won't start back at my old position until about mid-month, so I'll be short a little of my expected pay. As a result, I'm asking very gently, and only if you're very able, that if you really enjoy what you're reading here, to please maybe help an author out via her PayPal. For this honor, I will work a character or suggestion of yours into Vigilant. If that's something you're interested in, you can use the email paperclippe (at) gmail (dot) com to do that. Even five dollars here and there can really make a big difference to someone who is used to making tips and will be seeing a lot less of them in the future.

Thanks again guys, for the help if you choose, and wholeheartedly for the views and reviews you've already left. It means a great deal to me, really.

So, what I've written of Vigilant is now longer than all of Broken Hallelujah, which is incredibly funny to me, because it was just something I started writing to pass the time about work and explore the dynamic between Fenris and Mahariel some more.

And now there's like, real conflict, and plot, and stuff. No idea what happened there.

Anyway, I just started a couple new little subplots so those'll be popping up soon. Working toward a climax, and I think I know how I want it to end. But it is like fifty pages long (single spaced, don'tcha know) as we speak, so never fear; there's still a lot more to come.

I'm gonna be upfront with you guys.

I have only a very vague idea of where this story is going. But I've been writing. A lot. New chapter on Thursday. (If I remember.)

More than 500 views this month.

Thanks, guys. That's pretty awesome.

Got some very lovely feedback on Vigilant, and Broken Hallelujah's view numbers are nothing to sneeze at, so this is just a little thank you. The unfinished Vigilant currently stands at just over 13k words, so rest assured if you're enjoying it, you have a good deal more to look forward to. I think I might finally have an idea for, like, a plot, too. So that's something.

Almost three years later, I've started again. Broken Hallelujah's sequel is begun. Check out Vigilant.

Broken Hallelujah is dead. Long live Broken Hallelujah.

The first chapter of Broken Hallelujah has been posted.

That's the big news, I suppose, but it's probably worth mentioning that I changed the story image for Likely Alliance to a Fenris sketch I did (the Anders sketch for Broken Hallelujah is also mine own creation).

A strange little poem I wrote because of a very vivid mental image in my head. I really need to stop writing things about only Vincent... Oh well. It's dark, very dark, and lyrical. You all should like.
