Author has written 5 stories for Kingdom Hearts, Tales of the Abyss, Misc. Games, Mega Man, and Legend of Zelda.
I apologize for my lack of updates. My part time job and my search for a different job are taking up the bulk of my life. I have thousands of dollars in student loans to pay off, and that takes priority over writing. I won'the give up, though.
I have a bad habit of getting obsessed over one thing, then my obsession changes to something different and I forget about everything else. As such, my update schedules are very irregular.
I'm an engineering graduate who enjoys playing video games, reading, writing, and drawing in my spare time. I've been reading ever since I was three years old, and I believe it strongly helped me end up where I am today. While I'm not as experienced with the arts as I am with math, I consider myself reasonably talented at writing and drawing.
My biggest fanfiction project to date is To Bloom Again, and I consider it my magnum opus. After several years of bumbling with numerous infringement-filled works that I eventually canned, this has been a story I have poured an enormous amount of effort and love into. This is the story that taught me that real writing is hard, but highly rewarding work. I've been working and reworking it since October 2013, slowly molding it into something I am very proud of. At the rate I'm going, it will probably be several more years before it is finally finished, but I have not once thought of abandoning it. I'm actually considering publishing the thousands of words I chose to scrap for one reason or another in a "Deleted Scenes" type thing after I finish.

I have a fair bit of history here on fanfiction.net, having become a member shortly after starting college. My earlier works were absolute trash, being filled with self-insert Mary Sue OCs, copy-pasted dialogue, and copious amounts of copyrighted material. I also had numerous stories that I put up and later took down after months of inactivity from me losing interest. I had a few gems in my one-shots, which were basically my only truly original works for a while. But in early 2014 I found that many of my stories had been marked for excessive copyright infringement. At first I was upset at being called out, but I soon owned up to it and took all the infringing material down. I really shouldn't have posted those things up in the first place because they are against site rules, which I admittedly only glossed over, but so many other people were doing it that I thought it was okay.
In the long run my copyright purge ended up being a good thing, as it freed me up to work on the idea that eventually became To Bloom Again. I have had my own share of problems in writing TBA, namely writer's block and numerous ideas and scenes that I wrote but later scrapped, but it has hands-down been my favorite fic to work on. It has been in the works for over two years now but I have not once lost my interest in writing it. I have become stuck many times but never wanted to give up or fully scrap the project. It is currently in the midst of a massive overhaul and it brings me so much joy to see it grow and flourish.
Long story short, don't copy other people's stuff. It is harder to write original content, but it is also much more rewarding, and you'll feel more motivated to write, too.
Common Mistakes in Fanfiction
I've been on this site long enough and read enough novels to notice numerous trends with fanfiction that I simply cannot stand. There are tons of young writers on here who keep making the same mistakes in their fanfictions. I myself have done some of these in the past but have done my best to work past them.
Unfinished Story Status
To Bloom Again: Chapter 15 in progress. I'm having difficulty, though...
