In DBZ, my favorite character is Vegeta, hands down. I love his character development throughout the series, so I try to play on that in my stories. I also really like Mirai Trunks. Both of them, I think, would have major psychological issues considering their early lives, so I try to bring that out in my writing while keeping them as close to canon as possible. I don't write much about Goku because I don't actually like him that well. I hate that he is portrayed as basically a perfect hero, but he senselessly leaves his family repeatedly. That's not very heroic, just sayin'.

While I do try to keep characters as close to canon as possible, I do love writing AU's that very closely follow CU. Basically, I tweak things to make them the way I think they should have gone. I will try my hand at writing CU from time to time, but by and large I'm an AU writer. I'm sorry if that isn't your cup of tea. Even if it isn't, I still suggest reading my stories. ;)
