A note on stories, new and old: As most writers tend to do, I have changed since I joined this site. My style, I should like to think, has matured a bit, into something that may be easier to read, even if I still have a horrible tendency to imply rather than explain (though, hopefully, maybe, that has lessened a bit as well). So naturally, I am recommending you read the newer stuff (May 2012, and onwards) over the older stuff, but otherwise, follow your fancy.
My interest in fandoms has changed as well. I still love Star Wars, but writing it is hard: I can't find the motivation as I can for Sherlock. Actually, what I am mainly writing now is only Sherlock related. So, anything that is currently labled as Incomplete shall remain on hiatus (disregarding Sherlock) until/unless I find the motivation otherwise. (Disregarding "Stand on Broken Glass" and "Babel" and "in a world you once lived in" seeing as those were never meant to be labled as "complete.")
(12/5/12) What you can expect from me are one-shots. I do write multi-chapters, but I’m not great at up-dating. I’m not good at writing long stuff, multi-chpt. or otherwise. Practically everything I write is AU, and it's been that way for so long, I'm starting to think I should put down "canon compliant" instead of AU. Typically, I imply more than I explain. Most of those implications go something along with my personal head!canon for whatever fandom I’m writing in.
I do tend to write darker stuff. Nothing into the mature area, mind you. It’s all Teen or less. Either way, it’s not happy or there’s angst and/or drama and occasionally death. In terms of other genre-y stuff: I have included romance, but it’s never been a main theme, and it never will be. I haven’t written (fem)slash, but I imply it and I read it (sometimes not really) and honestly, most of my pairings are heterosexual. Or it's more of a bromance (ie: Obi-Wan & Anakin or Sherlock & John).
My main fandoms (or, What Areas Have I Written In?): Star Wars, Once Upon a Time, Teen Titans, Phineas & Ferb, Chronicles of Narnia, Greek Myths, BBC Sherlock, Bible, Peter Pan.
Besides those, I may write Anything from Maggie Stiefvater. PotC. Burn Notice. Harry Potter. Ned's Declassified. iCarly. Robin Hood 2010. Batman: The Dark Knight. Avatar. Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. Super 8. Myths from any culture. The Looking Glass Wars (by Frank Beddor). Alice in Wonderland, 2010. Various Disney movies.
Disclaimers are not important to me. I'm quite sure that everyone knows that I don't own it (seeing as this is FAN fiction.) The only time I'll put a disclaimer if I include something not directly related to the subject. (Like, songs. Or, quotes, or something.)
Update: 3/1/14: I am polishing up some old stories (one shots) right now, and will be posting them within a few weeks.
I am also thinking about taking down "Take My Hand" and "Handful of Dust" and...well, either leaving them down, or polish them up and maybe (someday) adding a few more scenes. As one shots.
Beggars!verse: Star Wars: AU where thirty-some Jedi escape Order 66 to Tattoine with the help of Anakin and Obi-Wan. Features Aayla Secura and Barriss Offee.
Bethlehem!verse: Star Wars: AU where Qui-Gon turns to the darkside shortly after Naboo.
Stories!verse: Star Wars: AU where Anakin doesn't turn to the darkside.
Kingdom!verse: BBC Sherlock: More or less head!canon shots in the series. Focuses mostly on Sherlock and John.
