Author has written 37 stories for Alice, 2009, Doctor Who, Sherlock, Gravity Falls, Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, and Avatar: Last Airbender.
My name’s Kyla. I'm just your average top hat wearing, tea drinking, insane person!
I'm a 23 year old Hawkes Bay girl. And I'm also known as Hatter, Krazy Kyla, Ky-Sta, or Krazy Hatter. Take your pick!
I am really into Miraculous Ladybug at the moment. The muse is very strong on that front and I have MANY fics and art pojects in the works (like... 27 fic WIPs, but who's counting).
It's a bit tedious to put a disclaimer on EVERY story, and over time I have seemed to start leaving them off my fics. So here is a general disclaimer for all of them.
"I do not own Miraculous Ladybug. Trust me, if I did there would be a lot more pain. And Adrien would get more love."
"I do not own Gravity Falls. All that wonderulness belongs to Alex. But Witch!Pacifica and the Westwoods do belong to me. If you want to use this idea, go ahead."
"I do not own Doctor Who, as much as I wish I did. All characters, plot-lines, and ideas belong to BBC, unless said otherwise. For instance: 'The Trillium Mark', and the characters 'Arky, Galen, Aria, and Ana'."
(This will be updated as I continue to write.)

So, if I'm a little slow with updates, you know why. Also If I haven't updated something in ages, don't panic. I never give up on fics. I am either reworking it, hit a bit of a block, or am focusing more on another story or fandom.
Works in Progress:
Wake Me Up
Anywhere But Home
I'll Give You Anything (Short Story Collection)
Cracks in the Facade
Through the Stars
Forgetting What's Lost
The Invisible Rose (up for abandonment, tbh)
So, clearly, as you can see, I am a bit of a geek. And when I obsess, I OBSESS!!!
I am a HUGE bookworm, so much to the point that I used to work in my local library. (Sadly I had to quit because of lack of hours). I mainly read the fantasy genre. Though, to be honest, I've been writing so much in the last few years I haven't had time to read.
I put a LOT of research into any story that I write. I hate being wrong or inaccurate, so I research as much as I can. I back things up with science, history, or I will comb through information of a show to get it right. MANY of these facts seem to stick, and as a result I find myself spouting out lots of random obscure facts. I'm kind of surprised about the amount of people who don't know that Voltaire, Madame de Pompadour, and Casanova knew each other. They were all in the French court and the same time!
Writing isn't my only hobby, of course. As they would have said at school, I am very 'culturally' orientated. Meaning that I am more into the arts. One of my favourite things is acting. I’d love to do it more, but unfortunately there aren't may acting groups to join once you leave school. I've done a lot of Shakespeare and many other things. My other main interest is art. I do lots of art. Photo-manipulation and digital art are my favourite. Closely followed by sketching. I also do photography, painting and chalk pastel work. And I do stock photography which is where you take a picture for other people to use in their photo-manipulations. I also love baking. I am the queen of bite sized cupcakes!
So all in all, art, acting, writing, baking, nerdy obsessive fangirl, walking fact file, insane. Me in a nutshell.
Big love to all my awesome readers and those who continue to give me support!
