Hello there friends, I'm Elise and I've been a member of fanfiction since 2010.
(Yup, I've been around long enough to see the fall of the term lemons and 'YAOI: Don't like don't read!!", and the witness the great R-Rated fanfic purge back in '13 where a lot of people moved to Ao3)
I live in England, my mom named me after a Cure song, and my favorite foods are oreos and plums. I write as a hobby and my muse comes and go with no specific pattern to be honest, so I'm gonna be honest that it'll take forever for me to post. What will most likely happen is I'm going to write an entire story then post it on a weekly basis once it's done and edited.
Side note, I'm rewriting pretty much everything, and as you can see I just updated my cover photos and descriptions for all my stories. I'm making way in all of them really, the only one I'm actually satisfied with right now is Grimmauld and I wrote that last year so that's a lot more accurate to what my writing is like. Obviously since I haven't updated a majority of these since '13, I don't hold the same ideas or writing style so they're all getting a rather large retcon at the moment. Some of the things I have written do contain content that could be considered toxic or problematic, so that is definitely going. I wrote that when I was young and didn't have a very good understanding of how that can affect people reading because I myself was reading similar content that therefore set me in a mindset saying that was okay. So if you see anything like that on stories, know I don't think that right now and I'm probably currently changing that in the story.
Make sure if and when you leave a review, you know that there's a thin line between being a critique and an asshole. You could be the person that stops a person from being the next JK Rowling, because we all started somewhere.
As a formality I am required to say that I don't own any settings, characters, or worlds unless otherwise stated in my story. Not quite sure why I have to say this considering that this site is called 'fanfiction', you'd think that it'd be self-explanitory?
