Author has written 3 stories for Ouran High School Host Club, and Naruto.
I've written fanfic for years for my own entertainment. I write often because I do not see what I'd like to read. I like constructive criticism about my work and process. I'd love to meet lots of writers/readers with a laid back mindset and good ideas. I have been admin on a few RP sites for various genres. I don't care for fanfics where authors insert themselves to pair with characters because for me it breaks the wall down for the reader. I will try to avoid this pet peeve my self. Hope I can create something others will enjoy.

The six things to discuss and critique but aren't limited to:
-Ideas that are interesting and important. Ideas are the heart of the piece — what the writer is writing about and the information he or she chooses to write about it.
-Organization that is logical and effective. Organization refers to the order of ideas and the way the writer moves from one idea to the next.
-Voice that is individual and appropriate. Voice is how the writing feels to someone when they read it. Is it formal or casual? Is it friendly and inviting or reserved and standoffish? Voice is the expression of the writer's personality through words.
-Word Choice that is specific and memorable. Good writing uses just the right words to say just the right things.
-Sentence Fluency that is smooth and expressive. Fluent sentences are easy to understand and fun to read with expression.
-Conventions that are correct and communicative. Conventions are the ways we all agree to use punctuation, spelling, grammar, and other things that make writing consistent and easy to read.
This sounds like an English class lecture, but truthfully what makes a good story never really changes. All of us are trying to improve on at least one of these areas. Mabye the Naruto fandom can call it the Six Paths to a Good Story/Critique. Ha-ha, I'm so lame. -_-' Sorry.
Either marry your work – take it seriously and do it every day – or date it – write only when you feel like it – but know which you are doing and the repercussions of both.

:WARNING: This author has SNIS (shiny new idea syndrome) and correspondence with with her can spread this mental state of being.
Writing is a cop-out. An excuse to live perpetually in fantasy land, where you can create, direct and watch the products of your own head. Very selfish.

Challenge to Authors: Responses
I don't draw much (rather poorly too) but it's there for those interested. I have a weird desire to see if others would make fanart in my stead.
There are many reasons why novelists write – but they all have one thing in common: a need to create an alternative world.
Kitsune no Zenko --
It’s said a nine tailed fox gains his tails by living a thousand years before being granted it’s greatest power. Kurama, born with nine tails, would never be granted his gift by Oinari until he earned his tails. His time cut short the Kami exact a cruel justice for the Bijuu.
WIP: Chapter 4 -If you are interested in Kurama's character concept, his design and SOME of his personality stems from another anime/manga. He is shown in the story picture. His name is Zelman Clock from Black Blood Brothers. There isn't much fanfiction about this guy aside from OC romances unfortunately. If you are very visual oriented (like me) the video Zelman Clock Eyes On Fire will appeal to you. It fits the way I picture Kurama, should he take a human form.
Trouble with Goodbye -- In slow progress.
Makings of A Perfect Date--Opening of Episode 1 OHSHC
(Part Two--being written/ edited)
LOL not sure why but the part two is developing from the final scene forward. Sometimes I find it easier to write the ending and working back to figure out where it's going before I set the story up. I have the concept and scenes down and--so far-- know what's going to happen but I just can't find myself able to write from the beginning. Anyone else find themselves doing this?
Like everyone else, I am going to die. But the words – the words live on for as long as there are readers to see them, audiences to hear them. It is immortality by proxy. It is not really a bad deal, all things considered.
SNI (shiny new ideas)-
The Rule of Three- OHSHC post series after Haruhi returns to Japan. HaruXTwins, likely T rated or higher. Plot unclear but the idea is back there dancing for some time.
Kitsune Bi- Naruto- Naruto is the son of Kurama the Kitsune no Yoko. He faces the shinobi world and it's problems as an outsider to the human race looking for acceptance. --The title means fox fire and due to Naruto's birth the events of this world will be very AU. The two main characters are Naruto and Kushina (not a pairing...ew) who is not his mother but the container of his father. Both deal with the stigma that comes from Kurama and from that their interaction appeals the most to me. Despite being a demon Naruto is not "Dark" just maybe 10% more evil or jaded than canon. Mostly coming in prank form and nothing that could be seen as deadly just harsh. The idea is sparked from the Chapter 0/ Pilot Chapter of Naruto written by Kishimoto. The story will be sans the modern elements such as guns and vehicles as it is set in the Ninja World.
Note SNIs are rough sketches and may never come to fruition, but me it posting here likely means I will give it a go. If you are interested or bored to death of any such stories let me know. I will give it consideration after your response and it probably will stir the SNI back into the air.
You can't wait for inspiration. You have to go after it with a club.

Writing is the flip side of sex – it's good only when it's over.

"RUE" = Resist the Urge to Explain
Say all you have to say in the fewest possible words, or your reader will be sure to skip them; and in the plainest possible words or he will certainly misunderstand them.

You can take for granted that people know more or less what a street, a shop, a beach, a sky, an oak tree look like. Tell them what makes this one different.
The greatest rules of dramatic writing are conflict, conflict and conflict.
