Author has written 19 stories for Final Fantasy I-VI, Chrono Cross, Xenogears, ElfQuest, Final Fantasy VII, Suikoden, and Fushigi Yuugi.
I'm a 39/F who loves writing fanfics based on RPGs (Final Fantasy 6, 7, Breath of Fire 2, Xenogears, a bunch of others). I wrote my first fanfic when I was 10, and it was based on the cartoon series "Droids". I wrote a story about Tig Fromm and what it was like when he was growing up. It was angsty. Well, as angsty as a 10-year-old can really write, I guess. I put writing away for a couple years, then picked up fanfiction writing again at 13, being inspired by Elfquest, and I haven't stopped since. At 13, I reeeeked. For example: Begin scene... Savah sat in her throne room. Savah: "Child, what is wrong?" But nobody answered her... Next scene... AUGH! I still shudder... I guess we've all had those in the beginning. Even now, I can still occasionally write a dud - we will not discuss "Midori's Prerogative"...ARGH someone burn it...
I always thought I was crazy writing this stuff until I discovered the Internet, and realized there were so many other people doing this. Finally I could put a name to my obsession! And I'm still obsessed with it, even now. Call it a life-long addiction, if you will.
Also...I don't cry for reviews, and the ones I have are quite precious to me. Reviews are ALWAYS welcome, however. Please don't be afraid to review anything I have written here. I can take constructive criticism, and I will not flame you back for refusing to shower my fics with praise or by telling me I suck, promise. Of course, dropping a line or two in the review section to quickly tell me you liked my fic is also nice. Who doesn't like a bit of praise once in awhile, hm?
IMPORTANT UPDATE* April 16, 2012
Gebler Special Forces has been unofficially discontinued. I plan on finishing it. But whether I post it here will be decided based on how much I like the final product. I've been struggling a lot with the next couple chapters, and I want to be able to sit back and write them without the pressure of knowing I'm writing for an audience. I'm approaching all my writing this way from now on, if it can be helped. I debated a long time before I decided if I was actually going to announce this development, but I decided I'd rather be up front about it. There's still a good chance I'll post the ending, but I can't promise 100%.
As for what I've been into lately - my current fan obsession is Glee. Lots and lots and lots of Glee. As for me writing fan fiction for it, though...I guess I just enjoy the show as it is (as much as I am a crazy Furt fan and am saddened to know that in canon it just won't happen *sigh*) Another new obsession of mine is The Hunger Games, which I suspect I will not be able to leave alone. I blame Finnick Odair for this fully. It's not a bad thing. I haven't been inspired for fanfic in a long, long time, and it feels good. Expect a Hunger Games fic or two from me in the near-ish future ("near-ish" meaning 2 or 3 years. Maybe).
Aside from fanfic, I am working on a four part original novel series that's been shooting around my brain since early in 2007. That's what's taking up much of my writing time lately, but I have no regrets about that at all :)
