Favorite Fandoms: I am obsessed with (or is that focused on?) Harry Potter, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The X-Files, Lord of the Rings, and Star Wars. If I read one more girl-falls-into-Middle-Earth-and-hooks-up-with-Legolas I will reach out and touch someone. As in strangle them.

Favorite Characters: Basically everyone in all of the above fandoms. I'm pretty indiscriminate that way. Actually, it might be better if I were to list the characters I *don't* like, in which case they're Riley (though I don't hate him, not even close), Angel (just doesn't hold my interest), Kersh (I can't abide evil people), Sauron (for obvious reasons), the Malfoys (sorry folks, I just can't see Draco's appeal... boy's a git!), Dolores Umbridge, Cornelius Fudge, Kreacher the house-elf, and obviously, any Death Eaters.

Favorite Pairings: Ron/Hermione, Harry/Ginny (though I don't read much HP fic), Spike/Buffy (and basically all BtVS canon pairings; I don't even mind Buffy/Riley much), Mulder/Scully, Doggett/Scully, and Doggett/Reyes.

Favorite Things in Fics: When I stumble across a fic that has no Mary Sue, has good, believable characterization, has been put through a spellchecker and a beta, and has a point -- and then I get down on my knees and praise the Lord. It's *so* very rare these days.

Hobbies: Finding crapfics and giving their authors helpful, if harsh, critiques. Reading. Drawing. Writing fic, sci-fi, and poetry. Using my imagination. Sitting outside in the sunshine with a favorite pet.

Favorite Books: Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter (Order of the Phoenix is my favorite as of yet), The Silmarillion, the Ender Quartet (I have yet to read Ender's Shadow or Shadow of the Hegemon), the Tomorrow, When the War Began series, and -- always a good choice -- the Bible.
