Fav characters? Discord, Rarity, Sunset Shimmer, Celestia, Pinkie Pie, Twilight Sparkle, Sweetie Belle, Cadance, Cheese Sandwich, Applejack, Moondancer, Adagio Dazzle, Sonata Dusk, Seabreeze and Lord Tirek
Least fav characters? Angel, Lightning Dust, Spoiled Rich, Principal Cinch, Luna, Suri Polomare, Prince Blueblood, Flash Sentry, Babs Seed, Snips, Snails and that cherry vendor from Putting Your Hoof Down
Fav background pony? Minuette
Least fav background pony? Derpy. By default, that is.
Fav Mane Six member? Rarity.
Least fav Mane Six member? Probably Rainbow Dash, again by default. I don't dislike any of the Mane Six.
Fav CMC? Sweetie Belle
Least fav CMC? Probably Apple Bloom. But only by default.
Fav princess? Cadance. She's sort of like an older sister who just turned 18 and is trying (and most of the time, succeeding) to be mature, while also putting large amounts of effort into maintaining her relationship with Twilight. Plus for a stereotypical pink pony princess, she's pretty damn gorgeous.
Least fav princess? Luna. One, her fanbase is insane. Two, she's SOOOOO boring. And three, she put all of Equestria in danger just so she could continue wallowing in her stupid guilt.
Fav season? Definitely Season 4!
Least fav season? Season 1, but by default once again.
Fav episode? Twilight's Kingdom. But Tanks for the Memories comes at a close second.
Least fav episode? Putting Your Hoof Down. It’s just… so unpleasant.
Fav episode focused on your fav Mane Six member? Rarity Takes Manehatten.
Any episode you hate but everyone else loves? Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep. If you wanna hear why, see Jerry Peet's "Self Destruction" video. Or Joshscorcher's "Taking DPDOMS Too Seriously" video.
The other way around? Hearts and Hooves Day and Equestria Games. Morons…
Any guilty pleasure episodes? Power Ponies. I know the superpowers are pretty much exaggerated or underplayed versions of their normal abilities they already have. I know they straight-up use superhero clichés rather than satirise them. I know it would've been more interesting if the Mane-iac had come into Equestria. I know it makes the Mane Six useless in order to make Spike useful. I know it's an incredibly silly filler episode ...but I love superheroes.
Fav season premiere and finale? A tie between The Cutie Map and The Crystal Empire for premiere. And Twilight's Kingdom for finale.
Least fav premiere and finale? Mare in the Moon. And Magical Mystery Cure (but for all its faults, I don't hate it).
Fav song? A tie between The Goof-off and My Past is Not Today.
Least fav song? The Cutie Mark Crusaders theme song. Sweet Celestia, is this song bad. It's not even so bad, it's good. It's still part of the episode and the writer still expects you to sit through it. The key to cringe comedy is to show others' reactions to the situation and make the reactions as humorously exaggerated as possible. Equestria Games did this very well with Spike's song (plus he was at least trying to stay in key). This song does not, which makes it all the more painful to sit through. The instrumental itself is fine when you listen to it on its own but the vocals... as if I even need to go into detail. The CMC are capable of singing great, as demonstrated in later songs such as Bad Seed or Hearts Strong as Horses, so that is no excuse for them not getting a little into it. I know it's supposed to be bad. Hell, I heard Daniel Ingram actually sent the song back to the studio once it was recorded because he wanted it to sound worse. But I'm sorry, Daniel, intentionally bad is STILL bad.
Best villain? I would choose Discord, but since he’s now reformed, I’d have to say… Adagio.
Worst villain? Sunset Shimmer. I may love her now but her plan and personality in the first EQG movie was just... ugh.
Best tertiary antagonist? Trixie. But for Christ's sake, stop treating her like a goddess, Seth!
Worst tertiary antagonist? Garble.
Like Equestria Girls? No. I don't think it's terrible or unwatchable, just not that good.
What about Rainbow Rocks? YES! A hell of a lot better than the first movie!
And Friendship Games? Great! I like Rainbow Rocks just a little bit more, but I'd gladly watch this movie again!
Speaking of movies, looking forward to the 2017 movie? Uh, YES!
Fav shippings? SunLight, SunDagio, SoarinDash, RariJack and CheesePie.
Least fav shippings? FlashLight, Sparity, TwiLuna and FlutterMac
Fav bronies in the community? Joshscorcher, Silver Quill, Dr Wolf, Jerry (Lily) Peet (bring on the hatemail), ILoveKimPossibleALot, ToonKritic, Ink Rose, Draft the FilmMaker, AnimatedJames, JanAnimations and Wubcake.
Best kind of fans? Animators, reviewers, analysts, fanfiction authors, artists, cosplayers, video creators and musicians
Worst kind of fans? Lauren Faust purists, contrarians, pessimists, whiners who moan about every single thing on the show, fans who "leave the fandom" and try to boycott the show over the tiniest things, fans who believe their headcanons are right, and haters who insult the show staff by name
Any characters you didn’t like but grew to like as the series progressed? Rarity.
Have a waifu? Sunset Shimmer. Aaaaand Sonata Dusk.
If you could remove one meme from the fandom, what would it be? "Applejack is best background pony". So what if she doesn't have crazy moments like Twilight or isn't random and crazy like Pinkie? She's honest, strong and hardworking, acts as the voice of reason, is very encouraging towards her friends, never backs down from a fight, is a great second-in-command to Twilight, willingly ventures into danger to save others, has her moments of stubbornness but still strives to look after her family and loves for her little sister with all her heart. So shut it.
Can you name any celebrity you want to guest star on the show? Peter Cullen, Idina Menzel, Stan Lee, Liam Neeson, Stephen Hawking, Kristen Wiig, Will Smith, Grey DeLisle, Rob Paulsen, Ian McKellen, Steve Blum and John DiMaggio. (I know that's too many, bite me, they're awesome)
Lastly, how did you become a brony? Funny story. In early 2013, I was chatting online with one of my Fanfiction friends, A Kiss of Winter, and since she's extremely kooky and incredibly hyperactive, she randomly said "I'm watching My Little Pony right now! :D" I didn't know they'd made a new show of the original series, so I thought she was talking about the 80s show which I couldn't stand when I was a kid. Whenever one of those toy commercials came on TV in the early 2000s, I would either turn off the TV, change the channel or tauntingly call it "My Stupid Pony". Immature, I know.
Then one day, I was on a random YouTube video and in the comment section, I saw a comment praising the video from someone with a pony avatar, which I thought was some weird cartoon horse at the time. And he'd gotten a boatload of replies saying stuff like "get lost, brony faggot". And I thought, "what the hell is a brony? Is that a misspelling of 'brownie'? Can't anyone spell ANYTHING right on the Internet nowadays?" But the fact that every reply mentioned this word made me so curious, I looked it up. And I discovered this whole fandom of grown men in their early teens to late 40s creating artwork, making music and videos, writing fanfiction, chatting on forums, watching and actually this new show "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic".
And I was, of course, shocked.
I certainly didn't HATE the show or its fanbase, I wasn't one of those trolls who went on a random pony video just to insult them in the comments. But it wasn't something I really wanted to watch either. It just didn't interest me all that much so I avoided it. But overtime, for a whole five/six months after Season 3 had ended and Equestria Girls has been released, my curiosity finally got the better of me so I looked up a few fanmade works and even watched a couple of clips from the show. And I thought, "Huh, it seems innocent, it actually doesn't seem annoying or stereotypically girly".
So eventually in July of 2013, I finally said to myself: "Alright, I'll check out a few episodes and see what makes this show so great." So I got up some random episodes on my laptop (I remember the very first one I watched was A Dog And Pony Show) and sat through them one by one. And I was pleasantly surprised to find myself actually enjoying them. So I said to myself "Y'know what? Maybe I'll marathon the whole series".
So that's exactly what I did. I started from the very first episode and watched every single one until the Season 3 finale. And before I knew it, I ended up loving it. And once I finished watching the last episode of Season 3, I threw up my arms and said "I admit it, I'm excited for Season 4. I'm officially a brony."
And now here I am, 113 episodes, three movies and many changes in the show later. :) I’m a brony and proud of it. I love this show and I’m never going to stop loving it.
“In many ways, the work of a critic is easy. We risk very little, yet enjoy a position over those who offer up their work and their selves to our judgement. We thrive on negative criticism which is fun to write and to read. But the bitter truth we critics must face is that, in the grand scheme of things, the average piece of junk is probably more meaningful than our criticism designating it so. But there are times when a critics truly risks something. And that is in the discovery and defence of the new. The world is often unkind to new talent, new creations. The new needs friends." – Peter O’Toole

“A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory.” – Leonard Nimoy
“A children’s story that can only be enjoyed by children is not a good children’s story in the slightest.” – C.S. Lewis
“You’re dead if you aim only for kids. Adults are only kids grown up, anyway.” – Walt Disney
“You’re only given a little spark of madness. You mustn’t lose it.” – Robin Williams
“Good art doesn’t come from focus groups and statistics; it comes from people who share how they see things in their own unique way.” – Doug Walker
"Friendship is the hardest thing in the world to explain. It's not something you learn in school. But if you haven't learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven't learned anything." – Muhammad Ali
"You know what I think is stupid? Complaining endlessly about things you can't change! Just shut up about it, you angry little troll!" – Chris, Dan Vs.
"If you think your teacher’s tough, wait ‘til you get a boss." – Bill Gates
"If you have to explain a joke, there is no joke!" – Mark Hamill
"Best friends... you cry, I cry. You fight, I fight. You hurt, I hurt. You jump off a bridge... I get a paddle and save your retarded ass." – Chipmunks are my THANG
"I know you all came here to see Iggy Catalpa. Because you think he's funny, because you like his style, because you just plain like him, right? But you just think you do! Because you were manipulated into thinking you do! By him: King Chicken! He did it the same way they manipulate us into buying toothpaste, car wax, even politicians. All pre-packaged, the least offensive, most appealing alternative. But it's precisely when humour is offensive that we need it most. Comedy should provoke! It should blast through prejudices, challenge preconceptions! Comedy should always leave you different than when it found you. Sure, humour can hurt, even alienate. But the risk is better than the alternative: a steady diet of innocuous, childproof, flavourless mush. Demand to be challenged! To be offended! To be treated like thinking, reasoning adults! And raise your children to be the same. Don't let a comedian, a network, a Congressional committee or an evil genius take away your freedom to laugh at whatever you want!" – Duckman
“If a friend of mine has depression, I encourage them to seek therapy. If a friend of mine admits to cutting themselves, I will drag their ass kicking and fucking screaming into a psychiatric ward. They can hate me and call me a callous asshole all they want. I just want them to fucking live. You take the sharp objects away from the person who is a danger to themselves. I don’t care how long it takes, I don’t care how much you hate me by the end of it. If I don’t have to bury you by the end, then I’ve been a damn good friend regardless of what you say about me.” – Lily Peet
