What can I say?
I am 17 and ever since the day I learnt how, I have adored reading. There is no greater joy than slipping into a well written, well paced adventure. Similarly, there is no greater pang of loss than when you turn the last page and find out there is nothing left. I suppose that feeling is part of why I love this website: a chance to read on after the story has ended or see a new interpretation of a favoured work.
A quick note on pairings:
I like to think I am an open minded person. If you are trying to sell Colin Creevy x Draco Malfoy Slash (or whatever) and you actually take the time to make the narrative interesting then I will try and give you the benefit of the doubt. My main dislike is when pairings (and especially the rather more militant “bash the other potential love interests” breed of pairings) start to detract from everything else.
Now, I am going to try something here. My mind is usually overflowing with possible stories and I rarely have the time to make them complete. So I propose an idea to anyone reading. I will add a quick outline to some of my story ideas on this page and if you find it interesting, PM me and we'll see about putting it in writing. And don't be shy. I'd be delighted to hear from anyone.

Empire of the Ashes (dead)
Summary: What happens when you put two parts Warhammer 40,000, three parts CthulhuTech, one part Trinity Blood in a blender, sprinkle it on a map of Europe during the Dark Ages and add in the characters and plot of the Leviathan series? Well, you get this... abomination. Enjoy!

One is Harry Potter, impulsive and brash but extraordinarily powerful. There are two more things I love about this website. One is that there is always someone willing to give good honest literary advice. So please review. Not just my stories but as many as you can. It makes writers very happy to know people care. The second is that everyone here shares a hobby: reading. My library is only open on weekdays (someone thought that through) so I never have as much time to LOOK for books as I used to. So if anyone reads my stuff and thinks "this guy sounds like he'll like X" please tell me. I can never find enough good books to read. And who knows? Maybe I'll be inspired to write some more fanfiction. (Though if you don't want me butchering your favourite writers you might want to mention it)
