Author has written 12 stories for Pokémon, My Little Pony, How to Train Your Dragon, Undertale, Legend of Zelda, Zootopia, and Naruto. Still alive, as of 12-21-2021 Things I like: I like well written unique stories, ships, and ideas. I am quite unpicky in a lot of ways; If the story is weird but well written, I'll probably still read it if it has a reason to draw me in, just to see what happens. I like reading about characters making families, having children, being together, growing or otherwise becoming more than what they once were because of either the person they chose to stand beside, or what it took for them to get together in general. Growth is one of my favorite things in stories to read about; I love it, regardless of if the reason is because of a relationship, because of one's family, or because of one's friends. I'm just a romantic by default, so I tend to lead towards the more romantic encounters. Things I dislike: Smut for the sake of smut, Many OCs, and character bashing; especially characters I dislike. Smut is smut, and if I wanted smut, I'd find smut. And, If you dislike a character, I feel you should just make them earn their redemption; don't just make them a caricature of themselves. The best way to get revenge on a bad character is to drag them unto glory, and make it your own. Make them stand beside you, and show that you could make a better character than what they once were, at least in your eyes, while keeping their starting point and who they are the same. As for OCs, it's less that I dislike them, and more that they have a pretty high chance of being Overpowered, all dominating Mary Sues when they're the main focus of a story. It's not always, but if it's a listed main character, especially when shipping, I pretty much am not going to read the story, mostly just because of how often it ends up being a mess. Things I won't read or look for deliberately, as I just don't particularly care for them: Yuri, Yaoi, and Polygamy, most smut, and Most Harems. I don't mind harems much, but I have a tendency to choose the characters I want to be together from the start, and thus, I'll either be disappointed when it doesn't happen, or grumpy at all the side-stuff that happens before the final relationship becomes complete. Same with Smut; If it's a huge part of the relationship's final culmination or the big romantic climax, I won't complain much, but if it starts being the majority of the story, I'll just start skipping it. As for Yuri and Yaoi, I just won't look for stories featuring those as the main lead; I don't really care if they are in the story at all, I just don't particularly find most ships of them terribly interesting. My Policy on Follows, favorites, and reviews: Reviews: I am a very boring, not-very social person. So, because of that, I only review when I got something I absolutely have to say, or when I'm trying to boost your Review count, (And I try to make it obvious when I do that), or leaving con crit, if asked. So, I'm sorry if I go long stretches without reviewing your story, even if I swear up and down that I love it. My silence only means that things are going perfectly, and don't got anything to say. Follows: If your story's great, I'll follow it. If your story's decent, I'll follow it. If your story has the potential to not suck sometime in the future, I'll follow it. Heck, If I simply follow the ship, I'll probably follow it. I follow everything. Author follows/favorites: I don't do either of these often. I usually use author follows as a way to tell if an author still frequents the site, thus giving me an idea if your story will update, and how often said author updates. As for favorites, I need two-three favs from said author to have them added to my favorite authors. Or if their story is so amazing that I can't help myself. Favorites: I don't have many favorites. If I favorite your story, it's because it's one of the best stories I've ever read, period. That, or, it touched me deeply, to the point of tears. And, even then, I usually go through my favs once every couple months, deleting stories that aren't up to my current standards or if I got too many. I typically keep the rule of one story per fandom, but that doesn't mean that it is the best of said fandom, and instead that it's the one I most enjoyed thus far. Useful tags and terms for fanfiction: Lemon: A explicit sex scene inside the story. Lime: A watered down lemon. Usually, a lime is a heavily implied, but unseen, sex scene. It usually covers the events up to, but not including, coitus, or gives non-descriptive terms. Citrus: Slang for lemon/lime/sexual content. Shipping: Where two characters are romantically involved, or attempting to be. Friendshipping: When two characters are in a story, doing friend things as the main focus. Kinda like shipping, but with less kissy-face and more wholesome buddy cop-like things. Fem!/Female!(Insert name): When a normally male character is written as a female. Can sometimes be used to specify the gender of a character that lacks a specific gender/Is ambiguous in the series, but is given one in the story. Male!(Insert name): Same as above, but switched from female to male, unless specified. Genderswap!: Usually indicates that many/all characters are a different gender than canon. AU: Alternate universe. A story that differs from the original material in terms of determined laws/rules, yet it shares the same characters, and/or some lore. Can pretty much be anything, from a differing timeline, to all the characters being in high school. (Spoiler: It's High school more often than you'd think.) Slash!: A homosexual pairing. Most often listed for male/male shipping, (Yaoi, for another term) but occasionally used for Female/Female.(Yuri.) Sometimes lacking specification on whom the female/female, and, on occasion, male/male characters in the stories will be, so be wary if you're picky about your ships. Mpreg: Male pregnancy, through scientific, Magical, or nonsensical means. Hiatus: A break in writing. Sometimes forever. Crack Ship (Or any variation): A shipping that makes absolutely no sense, be it impossible or just insane. (Ex. Gary's left and right hand) Deathfic: A story based solely around the death of a character. OC: Original character. Mary/Gary Sue: An overly perfect, overly competent character. Can often be OCs, but can also be pre-made characters. Comes in many flavors. See TV Tropes for more details. Angst: A unfocused mood of dread, anxiety, stress, or sadness, that is present throughout the story. (Insert Name)/(Insert Name): A common way to specify the story's ship, especially in stories from the days of yore, when the site didn't have shipping tags. (Ex: Ash/May) (Insert species)!: A character written as a different species as they are in the original work. My current projects Dragonfall Chapter 46 (0% complete, as I forgot to save it offline and it got deleted. Probably for the best, mostly because I was so stuck that I might as well have been trying to rewrite the E.U Constitution from memory.) (I'm not from the E.U, and am not even sure if they have a defacto constitution.) Story Plans: (Will be made eventually. Maybe.) NOTE: All of these plans are still being worked on, and are also wrote in here in a strange fashion. They'll be closer to personal notes than anything, so they may be worded or explained weird/missing major bits that explain stuff. If you have any questions, send me a PM. RWBY: A Tough Act to follow (Name in progress) Summary: Due to her severely ill sister, Yang Xiao Long is forced to do odd jobs and serve tables to keep food on the table, All while her father and Uncle Qrow work nonstop to try and ensure they can get Ruby's extremely expensive, life saving medicine. But, after the house gets in danger of being repossessed, Yang gets desperate, and tracks down the infamous Junior, in a bid to make enough money to pay off the mortgage. That's where things get complicated. Plot: (SPOILERS) Ruby has a rare autoaural disorder, a form that makes her aura overreact to injury drastically, causing it to destroy and then heal any and all tissue that it deems as "Damaged". Thus, Ruby is often bedridden, as her aura destroys and reheals irritated lung or digestive-tract linings. Due to this, she requires a extremely expensive medication, and is often bedridden. Yang, instead of partying and hanging out with friends or doing her school work, is instead forced to take care of the household, often working odd jobs or the occasional waitressing job to assist with the bills, and make sure that there's food on the table, while her Uncle and Father work nearly nonstop at the combat school, trying to pay for Ruby's expensive medicine. But, after their Mortgage defaults, and the house becomes in danger to be repossessed, Yang goes to Junior, a crime lord she had overheard from her uncle, in an attempt to earn enough money to pay off the house's mortgage. After losing her temper and causing a fight, she ends up getting assigned a task. Hunt down and arrest Roman Torchwick. She does so, and, in a bid of desperation, actually manages to bring down the Hover-jet that Roman escapes on. Roman gets arrested, and Yang gets the money. But, her attempts do not go unnoticed, and she ends up attracting the attention of Ozpin, who gives her an opportunity. The main First Year director/Tactician is due for retirement in a few years, and needs an apprentice. Should she prove herself capable within the next few years, she will be given the apprenticeship, and later, the job, and the governmental pay that comes with either position. She is not guaranteed the job, and, the better she shows herself to be, the faster she'll get the apprenticeship. Notes: The story will be pretty close to canon in the premise, with a few changes: Ruby is a sickie. How Yang presents herself, (She's gonna be somewhat serious and single-minded in this story.) How dangerous the Grimm are, (A standard grimm in canon can be dealt with by even untrained humans, while, in this story, Grimm are going to be extremely dangerous, but found in considerably fewer numbers. Usually.) The Team, (Yang, Blake, and Weiss will still be a team, but there will be no fourth member, due to raisins. (He's out intel guy.)) The ship. (This story's ship is A MASSIVE Spoiler, so no peeking.) The difficulty. (Just about everyone besides the students of Beacon are gonna be far better than they are originally. No "Blake casually beats Roman" in this story.) Personal Notes: This story was actually a requested ship fic that I agreed to, before ever watching RWBY. As such, the ship is set in stone, but I get to choose how I go about it. I decided to go with plot rather than shipping. Confirmed ships: Lie ren/Nora Pyrrha/Juane Blake/Sun, (A wee-bit.) Lots o' onesided ships, Raven/Tai Yang Summer/Tai Yang Neon Genesis Evangelion: The hopes of the world, upon the shoulders of the few (Name a work in progress.) Summary: The world is on the brink, under assault from nearly unstoppable invaders known as angels. But there is still hope, in the form of several machines, known as Evangelion, and their pilots. Genre: Horror/Adventure Plot: (Spoilers) A rehash of the original plot, with several key differences. Such as the Angels, when they arrive, bring other horrors with them. Planned with a somewhat Lovecraftian vibe in mind. The Angels will be more grotesque, and they spawn horrors from their bodies, giving the military will actually have a reason to be there, rather than being used to die to the angels after vaguely gesturing towards them. Instead, they are there to kill the smaller, less powerful monsters that fall off the beasts. (Think Sinspawn from Final Fantasy X.) The main characters, (Shinji, Asuka, mainly) will be tormented by the horrors of war and the death it brings. But, hey, maybe if enough outside pressure is added, maybe the two will finally come together and help one another. If only because they are the only ones who understand. Notes: I plan on making Gendo be a more reasonable bad guy. He's still the villain, after all, but his reasons will be tweaked, and the main baddies, SEELE, will be more of a Lovecraftian cult manipulating things behind the scenes than a group wanting the third impact for other reasons. His plan will be somewhat different, in a more well meaning, if even more foolish way. Rei will be Rei. Unflappable, unphased, and basically a robot. She might get better. Who knows; I certainly wouldn't want to defrost and become a emotional person whilst in the middle of a Lovecraftian apocalypse. The world will be a bit more united and involved in the defense of the Geofont, seeing as there's an actual need for soldiers beyond being the most basic of distractions. The Ship: Shinji/Asuka. Won't be the happiest ship, but they'll actually make it. Naruto: A Bride of Ice and Snow, of steel and silk Summary: A good tool does what is needed of it. A good tool provides for its master. A good tool does not care if it is loved or hated. A good tool exists only for its master. Genre: Drama/Romance Plot: (Spoilers) Haku survives the fight at the Great Naruto Bridge, and Naruto tries to bring her back with him to the village. But rarely does a foreign ninja get welcomed so easily. In fact, she only has one way into the village at all; Marry the ninja that brought her there, via being a prisoner-bride. But that matters little. A good tool will accomplish whatever its master needs it to do. Even if the tool was pried from the dead hands of it's previous master. Notes: A story in which Danzo is the "merciful good guy" for once, and the third is the paranoid, cold hearted one. No plans to make either character into something they aren't, (The Third will still be an amazing guy and Danzo a manipulative monster) But, if it fits his plans, (The Uzumaki have a strong water bloodline, and the Fourth had a strong wind blood-line, making Naruto the perfect breeding point for more Hyoton users) I can't see why Danzo would go out of his way to be a jerk. And the Third, he's an old ninja that has seen the world at its worst; He doesn't want that to happen to his adoptive grandson. Either way, it'll be fun to write. Ships: Naruto/Female-Haku. Soul Eater: Echo Summary: It's funny. When Maka dreamt of being a Meister, of making a Death Scythe as good as her mother's, she never expected that she'd be fighting dirty diapers as much as kishin. Genre: Romance/Family/Light Drama/Angst Plot: A AU where Maka ends up getting Pregnant before the start of the main plot. Notes: Several things will be changed, such as the characters ages, (They will be aged up) how long the main plot takes, (It'll take several months between Soul/Maka and BlackStar/Tsubaki meeting Stein before they meet Crona) and the whole fact that Maka will be, at the beginning, several months pregnant, unbeknownst to everyone besides Soul. (Who is the father.) It's complicated. Will basically give them different reasons to do stuff, as well as very different reactions to different things. Was dreamt up due to a story where Kid made a joke about Maka/Soul secretly having a kid when they were babysitting. The plot is basically a serious version of that idea. Naruto: Naruko, the magical idiot girl: Genre: Comedy Summary: Naruko is a mess; in some ways, she is the perfect ninja, and others, so awful that she cannot be allowed to continue. She cannot hit anything she aims at with Shuriken, quite literally. Yet her Kunai never miss their mark. She makes the most wonderful, most amazing curry, yet if she tries to cook Ramen, a curse falls upon the land and the heavens themselves tremble with fear as to what may happen. She's magic; pure and simple. Too bad she doesn't know how to control that magic in the slightest. Plot: Naruko has random abilities and problems sprinkled into canon, with little rhyme or reason, and the story is basically how everyone has to deal with a girl who is literally incapable of being normal, no matter how much she really, really wants to be. Soul Eater: Single in purpose, together as one Genre: Romance, AU Summary: Maka refused to be like her Papa; distracted and forever chasing the impossible ideal that was love and romance. No, she was going to be the world's greatest miester, and make the world's greatest Death Scythe at the same time. But she needs to find a Scythe first. Plot: A soulmate AU, where Maka and Soul are a incredibly rare pair of Meister/Weapon soulmates, and find out such when they try to get Lord Death's approval for their partnership. It has some benefits, (A literal perfect resonance rate from the start, for starters) but it comes with some surprising negatives as well; especially for such an inexperienced pair. They both request to keep their status as soulmates a secret, and try and figure out the whole "Destined romance" thing before they've even managed to make it through basic weapon and miester training. Story will somewhat rush through the early years a tad, and slow down once the first episode comes about. Ships: Maka/Soul Blackstar/Tsubaki Slightly Excalibur/Himself |
