"We don't read and write poetry because it's cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion. And medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love... these are what we stay alive for. To quote from Whitman, 'O me! O life! ...of the questions of these recurring; of the endless trains of the faithless...of cities filled with the foolish; what good amid these, O me, O life? Answer. That you are here - that life exists, and identity; that the powerful play goes on and you may contribute a verse.' That the powerful play goes on and you will contribute a verse. What will your verse be?"

11/22/11 - I'm running track, involved in multiple extracurriculars, and double-majoring in English and Government at an Ivy League university, which means that I'm extremely busy and I've done so much reading and writing for class that the idea of writing more for fun hasn't seemed feasible. But the holidays are about to roll around, and what better way to avoid studying for finals than fanfiction? Due to lack of interest (on my part and my readers' part), my previous unfinished stories are being put on hiatus, and I'm beginning a new project for the show Once Upon a Time.
Welcome and thanks for visiting my page!
I like a lot of different fandoms from Disney to Jane Austen to musicals. Right now, my focus is on the new show Once Upon a Time.
I review everything I read because it seems like the least I could do for people who have taken the time to write (although I do think people should write for their own enjoyment, and not to impress other people).
Though I am busy, I'm always looking for more good stuff to read, so if you have a recommendation or would like me to tell you what I think of one of your fics, just PM me and I would be happy to do so.
Have a pleasant day :)
Once Upon a Time
I took the liberty of naming the kingdoms in the "fairy tale land" of OUAT, because it was getting confusing and I included them in my stories.
I'm currently working on drawing a map of the kingdoms according to my estimation and imagination, though it is quite the feat! If anyone has any suggestions or wants to help in this endeavor, please let me know.
