Author has written 4 stories for Phantom of the Opera, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Ballykissangel.
Well, well, well. Decided you wanted to learn more about the mind behind the stories, did you?
Very well, I shall cooperate.
My name is Emily Thiessen, and I have far too much time on my hands.
...What? You didn't ask for any more than that! Unh... fine.
I am a writer, as you've probably noticed, though not professionally. Someday, perhaps, I will publish a book; but not yet.
I've completed one original screenplay, titled "To Know You as Mine". It's set in the 1800's, as most if not all of my work is. It follows the heart of Lillia Grey, as she is captured from her country by a war-mongering army and taken to her enemy's country. She falls in love with one of the crewmates, who in turn saves her life and they both wind up stranded on a new country's shores. That is where the story begins, as a love-triangle is born through the apparition of Tomas; prince of his country.
I continue to work slowly on another original screenplay titled "Existing Heart" which is set late in the Renaissance era. Seona is a very young woman who has just recently lost her husband during the war... to one of her own family friends. The man who killed her husband, Cadogan, insists on taking her as his own, but those plans are interrupted by her growing affections for her half-brother Aidan. Once more, war rages... this time between both countries and men, as Cadogan vows to claim Aidan's life as well.

I've begun a novel, titled "Water in the Wine Glass". Though it is but a newborn idea, I plan to finish it- a fate unknown to most of my stories. It follows Clara Rainier, a young Baroness who loves to create her own rules for the Game of Love. She attends monthly operas to charm men into courting her, and then promptly leaving them after she's lost her taste for them. However, Clara meets the outspoken Tristan Godelieve, the top actor at the theater that she attends. Through a series of harrowing events and glorious moments alike, Clara ultimately matures. Perhaps she can find love that lasts a lifetime, and break her addiction.

Now, onto my unoriginal work.
I wish I could claim the Phantom of the Opera as my own, but unfortunately I cannot. But I can attempt to write a continuation, can't I?
You're groaning, I realize, because every other Phantom of the Opera fanfiction is the same. They all start just after the movie, Raoul turns into a rapist or wife abuser, Christine goes back to the opera house where she meets Erik, they fall in love, and everyone lives happily ever after.
I don't do that.
While I still start just after the finish of the film, Raoul in fact is a _good_ guy, and Christine loves him very much. Event after event after haunting event, they prove that their love is the kind that will pull them through the rest of their lives. I won't tell you too much, but I would like you to read it. Tell me what you think... and I hope you enjoy it ;)
