Hello to anyone that is reading this.

Below is my profile from three years ago. I'm going to keep it here as a testament to how much I have grown, but also as a snapshot of the person I used to be.

Three years ago, I lost touch with my fanfiction account, which is when I just started university. I am now 21 and have graduated and I'm starting to get serious about my writing again, so I will be writing my own fiction away from this account. However something pulled me back to this website. I don't know whether it is curiosity, nostalgia or just plain simple old love for fanfiction. Fanfiction is often mocked or looked down upon, especially by experienced writers. However, fanfiction will always hold a special place in my heart as a genre, that can allow people to improve their writing as well as allow the author the freedom to create new works and ideas from their beloved shows, books and games. That's why I have always been so grateful to this website for allowing me the privilege to show other fanfictioners my work and be a part of a community that understands each other.

This is why I have decided to dabble in some fanfiction stories again and perhaps finish off the stories I left behind three years ago.

To all the younger writers here, never be ashamed of your writing, no matter what genre it is. You may look back one day and cringe at how bad you may have been but that is just evidence that you are only getting better.

Hello, I am DeathWallflower, I got this username from my most two favourite anime's (can you guess?), I may change it later on though. I am an eighteen year old female. I prefer to write and read stories about anime and manga, but there are books, plays and films and gaimz, that I enjoy reading fanfiction about as well. I have always loved English and English Literature and I am hoping to study English and Sociology in University.

My current obsession is Japan. Seriously I'm obsessed. I have planned to live there for an extended time one day. I am currently learning the language; which I love, it's such a sweet language. Also when I have the money I hope to travel to many different countries. I love to experience new cultures.

I am a very determined person in everything I do. when it comes to the get go, there is no 'maybe' about it, well maybe (hehe irony!). I will throw myself into anything, unless it bores me. xD I would describe myself as an optimistic although I have my pessimistic days. I'm also a very deep thinker and you will sometimes find me coming out with random philosophical questions...sometimes.

Also I'm learning to play the Ocarina. (Didn't know where to put that really xD)
