control of chaos (definition): in chaos theory, and based on the fact that any chaotic attractor contains an infinite number of unstable periodic orbits, it is the stabilization of one unstable periodic orbit by means of small system perturbation.

I am currently a full-time student in the States also working full-time in neuroscience and physics research, for a software-as-a-service (SAS) company on marketing strategies, as a freelance writer and for the aforementioned company, the occasional telemarketing for the aforementioned company and, at the moment, co-authoring several textbook chapters for a relatively well-known university that shall not be named.
I will often switch between languages while I'm speaking, not realizing it until the other person looks at me strangely. This happens more often than you'd think. If I'm tired or irritable, I might switch to some combination of French and Japanese. This may occasionally show up in my writing by accident, so apologies ahead of time.
Favorite movies: The Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Matrix (the first and only one), The Last Samurai, The A-Team, Rise of the Guardians, Inception, Shawshank Redemption, and The Avengers.
Favorite TV shows: The Newsroom, Sherlock, Castle, Firefly, The Mentalist, NCIS and The Finder.
Favorite books/manga: Too many to list; name one and there's a good chance I've read it.
Favorite radio dramas: Welcome to Night Vale (fangirl squeal followed by Khoshekh's meow) and Cabin Pressure

Doppler Effect, working mostly on FMA and and FMA crossovers for now, is my twin and fellow writer. All the myths about twins are actually true in our case. The mind-reading, premonitions, identical faces, all of it. However, we write and do everything else like total opposites, yin and yang. I will refer to her as Sekai when she is mentioned, just as she calls me Tsuki. The two of us have an account for our oh-so evil minds to collaborate on some crossovers and other stuff, most of which are still in the planning stages and will be for awhile (we're a little busy with this business called life). Our shared account is Takanami.
If you need a beta-reader, I love to work on all kinds of stories. Grammar, spelling, and improving word choice are my main objectives. Send me a PM if you have questions or want to send me something. My door is always open (except while I'm traveling, in the hospital, or during particularly frustrating weeks of work/school).

26 Jan. '13: All stories on hiatus. Maybe a one-shot or something if Sekai will type it up for me. Anyone know a good voice-to-text service for Windows 8? Will try to stop getting injured/ill, but can't promise anything at the moment.

(Brought to you by my sister NightmareWorld and the letter 2.)
The SAS is a highly qualified elite military group that operates for Britain. Men from it die every month while we sit here at our computers typing about fictional characters from that group, usually being astounded or amazed at the capabilities of a kid half their age or adopting a kid half their age and then being astounded at how much trauma the kid has been through.
Now, I won't pretend I absolutely hate this idea and that we all should just trash our ideas. Hell, I've written multiple stories myself for AR. But we still have to respect that the SAS is real and that it exists for more than just a group of writers who need some more characters. It's for our freedom and liberty and everything we cherish, and for other countries's freedoms and safety and everything they hold dear. I cannot slander that name in my stories.
It occurred to me that the soldiers we have been writing about are not SAS. They do not undergo training at all like the real British soldiers at Brecon Beacons. Generally, our characters do not act like real SAS men, and most of the information we use to describe their training, the camp, the people, and any other possible details about SAS tends to be completely fabricated.
Summary: The SAS we write about does not exist.
The soldiers we are writing about are not Special Air Service. They do not operate like them. No. They are...
Stalker Fan's Special Air Service.
...But that would be a ridiculous name to call them.
Instead, I have opted to call them FFSAS - Fanfiction Special Air Service. They were originally based off of the real SAS, but after a certain point, we're really just making fanfiction off our fanfiction now. The people we are writing about were created, designed, incorporated, and used by fanfiction writers. We have created a whole new fictional brand of the military.
I can't keep up my stories while most of the characters walk around with titles that they truthfully don't deserve anymore than I deserve to be called an SAS member. I am going through all my stories and replacing the "SAS" with "FFSAS", because that is their actual title. And in all truthfulness, we should be proud. We created a whole new and intricate organization without ever contacting one another with plans to do so! This was a group created for the writers and by the writers, and the writers will see it done. This group will continue to control the AR fanfiction universe. All I ask is that we do not shame the true name by falsifying what they actually do. I would be delighted if you used my idea and did the same to your stories and spread the word.
