Notoriously cynical, sarcastic, and apathetic.
Preference for good grammar and sentence structure, intriguing plot lines, good characterization, introspect, and a certain amount of realism.
I do not claim to be a great author, nor do I wish to come across as pretentious or overbearing, but the fact remains: these are standards I keep myself to when reading any form of fiction, and when I write I also keep them in mind.
When writing, I find that I have a natural predisposition toward introspect and realism, and subjects that try to demand a more emotive response. I find the human psyche absolutely fascinating, and exploring what certain characters would do when thrust into a certain situation is perhaps the main reason I write.
Universal Path: A collection of interrelated drabbles, vignettes, and oneshots based on the events of the Elibe games and personal headcanon from before, after, and during the games. Stories may take place at different times of the entire Elibean timeline and are not necessarily in chronological order. Notes for new chapters can be found at my Livejournal.
Thicker Than Water: A retelling of Fire Emblem 7: Blazing Sword. Notes can also be found on my Livejournal.
I am not new to Fanfiction.net but this account is almost like a new beginning for me. I have written and read fanfiction for the past couple of years, when all I did was lurk, and now I've finally decided to start posting some of these where they won't collect dust on my hard drive.
If a particular piece catches my eye I will read it, and almost always I will try to leave a review of some value in my wake. These reviews may or may not contain criticism of some sort, as I believe that every author, no matter how great, has room for improvement, and so I try to provide that as an impersonal and objective individual. When receiving reviews for my own work I appreciate if people return my sentiments, but I understand that this always isn't the case.
Change in my original policy: I am now taking requests to review a story and leave critique and feedback. Simply PM me. If you wish for a review from me simply to raise your review count then you are sorely mistaken; when I review I am critical, even more so when an author personally requests feedback from me. Details can be found here.
Also, I do not ask that you read my own fanfiction, nor do I demand that you leave a review. If, however, you do happen upon one of my pieces, leaving a word or two regarding your opinion of it would be greatly appreciated. You can also find me on the Fire Emblem boards here, particularly in the Fire Emblem Writer's Guild and Little Circle of Reviewyness. Thank you.
