Author has written 4 stories for Vampires, Angel, and Supernatural.
I'm so horrible at talking about myself, but I'll give this a shot.
I haven't really been into writing fanfiction before, but I've loved reading it for some time. I love seeing the different takes people have on characters that I read or watch. Although, some times the takes are painful because the fanfic authors bleach the characters of their personalities in their quest for a story. Yet, even on those occassions, I some times find myself unable to stop reading and then wishing for more. That usually happens with my favorite dirty secret in fanfiction: Jakeward. Yes. I am secretly addicted to the Edward/Jacob Twifics. The union is impossible and almost every fic written about them completely alters their characters, but I am addicted.
My absolute favorite fic genre is Spangel. I am in love with Spangel. I admit, I'm a late comer both Buffy and Angel. I completely missed both of them when they were new and only found Angel last summer when I was so nocturnal that I was up late enough to watch it on TNT. (For those of you who don't know, it only comes on between five and seven am.) My recent acquisition of a DVR has made watching Angel much easier. I immediately fell in love with Spike; he's definitely my favorite. I, of course, am a huge M/M fan, so, of course, I came here, searching for some Spangel. Who needs Buffy when you can just put the two hotties together? Much of what I found was disappointing, but then I found ptera waters. I fell absolutely in love with her Spangel series (even if she did throw Buffy in there). In fact, I only created an account here to comment on her story Sanctuary because I absolutely had to have more. I encourage any fan of Spangel to read her series. I'm sure her Glee works are good too, but I haven't read them since I don't watch Glee.
I have a very ecclectic taste in books. I read all kinds of paranormals and historicals. Anyone that likes vampires must read J. R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood series. It's my all-time favorite. My other favorite authors include Sherrilyn Kenyon, Kresley Cole, Gena Showalter, and Larissa Ione. In way of more "fluffier" authors (meaning the books are easy, funny, and uncomplicated but satisfying) are Lynsay Sands and Kerrilyn Sparks. The queen of complicated, hearwrenching, tear-jerking reads is Brenda Joyce, who I love. She writes both historical and paranormal. Gaelen Foley and Julia Quinn are also amazing historical authors.
As for TV, I have a love affair with crime and medical shows. My first TV addiction came in ER, which I began watching when I was way too young to watch a show like that and I am still missing deeply. Now a days, I love Grey's Anatomy, the spin off, Private Practice, and House. In crime, my favorites are Law and Order: SVU, Bones, and NCIS. Outside of those genres, I love Smallville and I'll be devastated when it airs it's last. American Idol is awesome. 'Nuff said. I have an obsession with the history channel. I absolutely love American Pickers, Pawn Stars, American Restorations, and I'm beginning to fall in love with Swamp People and Only In America with Larry the Cable Guy.
Wicked Lover: It is a Black Dagger Brotherhood fic. Butch and Vishous's feelings for each other are becoming impossible to ignore and they won't be able to resist each other for long. Discontinued
That One Time: A Spangel one shot that takes place before Angel gets his soul back. It gets it's title from the Angel Season 5 reference.
Incorporeal Comfort: Another Spangel fanfic. It is a stand alone story, but can also work as a sequel to That One Time because it refers back to what happened in it. At least one future chapter is planned.
Phoenix: My first Destiel fic. After Sam dies for good, Dean's world is shattered and the only thing that makes him keep going is Castiel. It's a one-shot right now, but if anyone shows interest, I'll continue it.
