Hi all. I had an account on here for a long while, Duraiken, but forgot my e-mail account password for the e-mail that my old ff.net account was attached to and forgot my password to ff.net eventually too. An attempt to contact the mods and/or admins here got me nothing, so I'm starting over. I'm doing better at passwords now, and my interest in writing has rekindled - my interest in reading never died, though original and published works are catching my eyes again.
Update - 1/27/15
Wasn't sure this was still up, but it is and I'm updating my profile. Still have too many ideas and not many clues on how to turn them into stories, but I think maybe I'm closer than I've been in a while. Guess that "never really get near until you're not obsessed with it," kind of thing applies. Kinda spreading myself a little thin on the net in terms of sites I visit and try to keep at least lurker presence on, but I think can manage. Got into the web-serial novel Worm, pretty enjoyable so long as you recognize and accept it's faults ( the TvTropes term "grimdark," definitely applies,) and am very much enjoying the fanfiction of it that I've found. Surprised to realize authors of works I've enjoyed have been writing in the fandom for the last few years and I completely missed it, even though I was vaguely aware of Worm sometime around last year or so. Already wrote a snippet for Worm, may end up posting it here after I've cleaned it up and maybe written a few more scenes. No plans on doing anything more with it right now, it doesn't really have enough plot for me to do more with it.
Update - 3/3/11
Plan on picking up my attempts at bringing my muses in line again. So far my muses seem willing to provide me with the material for a few poems, but if they're waving anything else in front of me, I'm not noticing it. I have two poems posted on . "So What do You See?," was written when I was in High School, polished up a bit and posted to the site. "So Why?," just struck me up the side head late one night while I was listening to Pandora radio on my iPhone. Not really all that sure where it came from to be honest. Turthfully, both pieces are moody at best, depressing at worst, and I still can't quite figure why they turned out that way.
Also wrote a very short cracky snippet on "The Fanfiction Forum" that's featured as part of a collection of likeminded crackfics here on fanfiction.net by http://www.fanfiction.net/u/1086714/Kelenas , specifically http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6048150/1/Ninja_Arts_and_You chapter 7, Digging.
