Author has written 9 stories for Mentalist, and Sherlock.
Wow, it's been quite a while since I was here last; for some reason I just stopped posting things. I suppose that can be put down to school and the inevitable abundance of homework and revision that came with my recent exams. I didn't really think twice about it, but now that a few weeks of not posting have somehow lapsed into over a year, I thought to myself 'perhaps I should do something about that'.
It goes without saying that I thoroughly enjoy posting my stories and receiving comments on how to improve them. I have found it to be very rewarding! Reading back through my previous stories written when I was named 'DaWhoGirl32' (Good God, what was I thinking when I came up with that?!) I feel that now I have improved in my ability to write stories.
But I'll let you be the judge of that. I'm going to assume that if you are taking the time to read this then you either show some form of interest in the things I have written or you're just browsing. Either way, I thank you kindly for visiting my humble profile page!
It came to my attention recently that I have missed this writing and posting business. Plus, I think expressing myself and striving to improve my literary skills will help me considering I'm now taking English lit at A level. So I decided to come back. The first problem of course was remembering my old password which in itself was a challenge I had to do some serious thinking for. Then came the inevitable decision: changing my pen name. I think it pretty much speaks for itself and describes me quite well. My writing can be sporadic, whimsical and just downright random at the best of times but that's just the way my brain works I'm afraid.
Anyways, here's to future writing and I thank you once again for hearing me out. Cookies for those that made it to the end of my nonsensical ramblings!
Love to all!
Things about me in general (additions pending):
I have a deep and profound love (*cough, obsession...) for the TV shows Sherlock and The Mentalist. Also Doctor Who, but Matt Smith will always be my doctor. (Sorry Capaldi!)
Winter is my favourite season.
I have a weird and as of yet unexplainable fear of rocking chairs.
'You, go to hell. Take a toothbrush.'
Teresa Lisbon, The Mentalist.
'Anderson, don't talk out loud. You lower the IQ of the whole street.'
