Author has written 3 stories for Dragon Age, and Phantom of the Opera.
You are reading the wordsmithery (see? Smithin' right now) of a 30-(mumblemumblemumble) twice divorced gal in the US. Outside of my completely uninteresting profession, I truly enjoy escaping into fiction. Also, when I am inspired to write, I try to produce something that I can be proud of. I procrastinate heavily, and truly your reviews help spur me on to keep things updated. Like many of you, I find an unfinished story to be absolutely painful.
Genres of preference tend to stay within fantasy realms, both in what I read here and what I write. I harbor a love of role playing games, and Bioware owns my soul. Some of my favorite fanfic here comes from the Dragon Age series, the Mass Effect series, and Fable. However, when it comes to what I turn to time after time for romanticism and a sense of completion - both with endings that are happy and that are bitterly painful - I go to The Phantom of the Opera. As someone who holds a degree in Music with an emphasis on Voice, this musical captured my imagination at a very early age and settled there. Exposing myself to the myriad of movies as well as the original book only worsened my obsession, and our dear, beloved Erik persistantly skulks in the recesses of my mind, weaving through the wings and watching from the catwalk. However, despite my long emotional investment with that world and that particular character, I do promise one thing in my writings (in ANY of my writings) - you will not find me Mary Suing anywhere, for anyone. It is exceptionally rare that such a thing actually works well, and I have only found one author to do it convincingly.
So, that would be me. I would like to thank each of you for checking this out, and for having an interest in my writings. I hope I continue to produce things that you love to read!
