Author has written 7 stories for Pirates of the Caribbean, and Harry Potter.
Hey! I'm 23 years old living in the United States. Here are some awesome quotes from my fave stories(skip to the bottom if you feel like it):
"Draco gave a theatrical shudder. "It's a Gryffindor thing, you know that, Severus. They can't help but wear their emotions on their sleeves. Revolting, really."
"Oh, come on, Harry! First you tell me Snape's not as bad as we've always thought him, and now you're going to make me feel sorry for Malfoy! What next - You-Know-Who needs a hug?"
"Albus came in and winked at Snape. Severus felt his stomach drop, again. This couldn't be good,
And there it was: the response he’d been trying to evoke for the better part of two decades. The choke, the splutter, the frantic grasping for a handkerchief to wipe the amber drops of tea from the long, crooked nose. Yes, it was deliciously gratifying and very nearly worth the aggravation that was certain to come of having taken a wife.
"As amusing as it may be that 'vile Professor Snape' suddenly has a sex life," he said, liberal amounts of venom snaking through his words. "I might remind you, Mr. Potter and Mr. Weasley - that the woman I will be making love to tonight is your best friend."
"What? Are you still going to stick up for Weasley?" Draco asked.
“It’s been a while, Jack Sparrow.”
"I’ll build a huge army . . . one with really spiffing uniforms," he murmured. "And of course, Severus will be my general. Don’t you think he’d look smashing in feather plumes? Hermione would be all over him like ham on a sandwich."
Still, while we’re on the subject of men’s shortcomings I do hope that Aragorn’s at least had a bath for his wedding. I don’t really expect his hair to be brushed, I’ll admit, but then miracles do happen…
He reminded me somewhat of one of those toy poodles that launch themselves at people’s pant legs and expect to do some serious damage. But I couldn’t pick up Gimli by the scruff of the neck, call him a “bad dwarf”, and lock him in a cage. I suggested it to Aragorn. He ignored me.
"That is hardly sufficient reason for me to get involved." Glorfindel said dryly.
“And you call yourself evil! The standards they set for evil today… In my days, you had to at least had caused a river of blood. You're a sad, sad excuse for evil.”
Problem: Your ARAGORN doesn’t glitter.
Glorfindel seemed to enjoy my company when I was able to show up, but Haldir kept trying to hand me off to random Lothlórien ladies. I was not going to let him get away with it, however - I hadn't had the chance to get to know and bug Legolas while he and I had both been in Rivendell, but by the Valar I wasn't going to pass up the opportunity to drive Haldir insane.
"Fanfiction authors we don't 'leech off other people's writing', but instead play with the hand-crafted puppets of the literary gods and goddesses in a way we know they never will."
Boromir’s eyes narrowed, “I swear I am hearing the wheels in that woman’s head turn.”
"Legolas will be one of the nine who are chosen. The balance that this world hangs on has been tipped in favor of light and not darkness. Yes, Legolas' choice has worked in favor of this world." she said quietly. "And yet it is with great sorrow that I watch him now, as he walks forth towards his home. To love someone that can not love him in return, not because of will but because of frailty of mind... there will come times when he will be driven to near madness at what is in his reach but far from his grasp. Yes, the lives of many in this world may be spared because of his choice and yet what of his life, spirits?"
“Two wrongs don’t make a right,” He informed her.
Glorfindel glanced between me and the High King, then shook his head and held up his hands in defeat. Gil-galad and I immediately turned to the much more interesting, and important, task of finding out just what each other's sense of humour was like, completely ignoring those on the dock who knew me and shot somewhat despairing looks in our direction, especially when we set off away from the dock into Valinor proper discussing whether or not it would be possible to make a magnet big - and strong - enough to pull Vala's crowns off their heads.
“I wanted to see you-”
Dumbledore nodded, then sighed. 'Miss Weasley, I'm afraid I had an ulterior motive for ordering your mother's chocolate cupcakes.'
"You have to make a choice," Luna said simply. "It all comes down to whether you truly love Harry."
I started to cry then, not the hysterical, mad crying of the day before, but the aching, painful sobs of grief, crying over what might have been had Lucius never taken me and broken me, for the innocence I had left behind, and the man who still believed in me.
I knew that it would get worse if I didn't let them break me. They would take everything they could from me and twist me until I snapped in half, and I knew that I'd die if they did anything else to me, so I gave him what he wanted. I carefully set aside my dignity and pride, as if I were making another part of my soul. Inside this other part, I put my pride and my heart, carefully, and then all my memories of people who would die of shame if they could only see me now. My mother, my father, my brothers, and Remus. I forced all of my memories of them inside this part of my soul, and then I walled it off, I would give them everything but that. Nothing that happened to me from that point on would have anything to do with who I was, because my identity was locked in a tiny part of my soul that they would never touch.
Sometimes I watch them together and wonder what Lila would be doing...I can’t explain it to Alexis, Jason would understand. I push him to the back of my mind. Next to Lila, next to Danny.
His hand tightened around Tokijin and the blade turned up towards her heart. Kagome straightened, her eyes never leaving his. “Alright. No more stalling then,” she said.
He leaned down and looked at her lips, the ache swelling to an unbearable, searing pain in his chest. “ I should’ve kissed you the instant I first saw you, but I didn’t, and now I can’t. Our relationship is never going to be anything but should have's and might have been's.”
Nearly a lifetime ago, Uchiha Itachi could not understand why his father had refused to lift his weapon against his own son, even when it was very apparent that he would pay with his life if he didn’t do so. The esteemed leader of the great Uchiha clan would rather die rather than to engage his prodigious offspring in a duel to the death, and in the end he had been brutally cut down by the very pride of his clan: the very son whom he was so fiercely proud of.
“Don’t know about that,” Ino said smugly. “I think our favorite pineapple head is going to be married a lot sooner than you think. To Temari.”
She laughs. He thinks maybe she’s a little drunk. "Oh, it’s about another night like this in another alley with a boy like you. You look like him, you know. Not a lot, just a little, around the edges. But I can see it. You smile more, though. You smile more and better, and I guess that’s what he wanted for you."
She really is horrible at math, and when she blackmails him into tutoring her, he wonders, with honest amazement, how she managed to make it as far as she has. Before he can ponder it any longer, she looks at him with furrowed brows and sticks out her bottom lip some more. It doesn’t add up, she says, peering at the numbers she’s hastily scribbled. He feels a tightening in his chest and finds that he agrees.
They go on, just like Avalon said. Doing things as usual. The problem is, as usual isn’t really working for him anymore.
‘Finn isn’t the father.’
"She looked like she didn't trust the world. She didn't drink. That was a big one," he said jokingly. "And when I called her sweetheart, teasingly, she smiled."
The tears were frozen in her throat as she stared at their hands, as Harry said in a barely audible whisper, "Look at me, Ginny."
Hermione tried so hard not to fall asleep. She tried so hard not to lose her fragile grasp on time. But she was so very tired, and she hurt so very much.
