Author has written 25 stories for Avatar: Last Airbender, Kingdom Hearts, Tsubasa Chronicle, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Card Captor Sakura.
School is back! This means slower updates. Do not fear, for I am still writing. I just gotta balance it out as school is still the main priority. As always, thank you so much for your patience and support!
Main FANDOM NEWS!
Kingdom Hearts: Currently working on Substitutes and My Winter Curse simultaneously. Don't Be a Gentleman gets faster updates because the end is nigh (second oldest KH story I have on here, so finishing it is a must).
Avatar: The Last Airbender: Working on The Gaang watch The Legend of KORRA and Avatar: Master of the Night simultaneously.
Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle: Planning to post Fifty Cycles of Virtue once chapter five has been completed and edited. For now, expect updates for The Ever Gloom.
Stuff about me...
Gender: Female, shouldn't be a huge surprise.
Real Name: Eh, starts with the 9th letter of the alphabet and it's unusual. Make of that what you will.
PenName: Previously known as Justice333, or J333 for short if you're lazy. Back when I was anonymous I was actually known as Susan3, if you saw any of my old reviews (yes, I've been there that long. Can you tell 3 is my favorite number?). Now it's Justice Tokidoki. What does "Tokidoki" mean you ask? "Sometimes" in Japanese. I feel it fits me, only because the uncertainty represented with the word (and the vagueness that comes with it) has been a key part of my personal philosophy for some time.
Motto/Quote: "When you embrace denial love transforms you into something you'll regret."
Languages: English, Japanese, Spanish, and American Sign Language (though I'm only fluent in English).
I started reading fanfiction around 2010. It started with the Avatar: The Last Airbender fandom and Sonic the Hedgehog. Now, I'm mainly into Kingdom Hearts, but I still browse over a lot of different works. Just check out my favorites, I read way too much...

Stories in DEVELOPMENT/PENDING
The Last Kingdom (KH): Sora is an orphan who wants to forget his horrible past. He finally gets an opportunity to do so when he is adopted by Riku's family. However, when he gets involved in the convoluted schemes of Vanitas, a dark serial killer, Sora starts to think a normal human life may never be possible. AU, my own twisted version of KH1 inspired by various sources such as The Last of Us, Heroes, and darker fairy tales (Pending).
Caged (KH): This is actually going to be a oneshot spin-off of xxIAmTheSkyxx's epic masterpiece known as Lies Upon Lies (well, more along the lines of the sequel if we want to be technical). Basically, this will be Vanitas' back story, explaining the events of how Sora and him get captured by C.L.O.U.D. This will contain mature content as in violence, maybe some vulgar language, mental abuse, and a whole boatload of brotherly angst to put icing on this tragic piece of cake. Yeah, not for the faint of heart (25% drafted).
Honor Withheld by Water (AtLA): This will be either a few chapters or a oneshot. Takes place a few weeks after Sozin's Comet. Katara ends up having to earn Zuko's respect when he shuns her for what could have been a costly mistake during their fatal battle with Azula. This is as close to Zutara as I get but it will probably still end in friendship (Pending).
Fifty Cycles of Virtue (TRC): Post-series AU The deterioration of the worlds has been slowed, not repaired. Syaoran and Sakura are still left in the clutches of Fei Wang Reed and forced to watch as he continues making more clones in a mad cycle to fulfill an impossible dream (Chapter 4 drafting).
Reason and Intrigue (TRC): Clone Sakura's steely resolve didn't appear overnight. Her cold demeanor has been developing for some time, this is one of the reasons why. Dark fic, involves implied violence (20% drafted).
Operation Cookie Dough (KH): Been planning this story for a while. Starts off as a friendship story with Roxas and Axel but it cuts deeper than that. Involves almost all of the KH characters and some Disney/Final Fantasy cameos. Part coming of age fic and part recommendation fic (Pending/Outlining).
An Unconventional Confession (CCS): After years of hiding his true gender for the Kabuki tradition, Syaoran decides to drop the mask as he enters a new High School to reconnect with his best friend. But once she discovers the truth, will she still accept him? The pairing is Sakura/Syaoran (Pending).
Tale of Two Artists (CCS): Sakura is a struggling artist trying to find inspiration. Syaoran is a varied artist who mainly chooses to express himself through graffiti. With his gruff demeanor and questioning appearance, will he ever find the strength to confess his feelings? And can she trust a troubled boy with a dangerous alibi? Yep, this is another Sakura/Syaoran-centric story (Pending).
My Brother eats Fire for Breakfast (Fairy Tail): Whether this will be an AU or stuck in canon is anyone's guess. I just want to do a story where Gray and Natsu are forced to act brotherly either for a guild job or because they'll be born that way in an AU. Whichever it is, it will revolve around how they've developed from when they were kids to when they reach their late teens (Pending).
Late Response (CCS): My first story delving into the Cardcaptor Sakura fandom. This is basically just a really cute oneshot. It's completely written in dialogue, as it's a phone conversation. I connected with it on many levels because a) I was up past two in the morning writing it and b) included an inside joke me and my friend use with each other all the time. So overall, this ended up being a very enjoyable and humorous experience.
Of a Guitar's Stirring Love Song (KH): Yeah . . . this oneshot took me almost half a year to write. Definitely one of the most challenging and darkest things I've ever written in my entire life. I feel pretty happy with the end result, though thanks to this story I think it will be a while before I tackle any mature subjects . . . at least for a few months. Basically, it's a representation of the slow deterioration of Sora's mind after a course of devastating events. A lot of violence and drama is involved, not for the faint at heart.
Crazy for Chicken Noodle Soup (KH): Oneshot challenge given to me by XionTheBlackRose. Just me being silly and trying out Larxene's character.
Broken Promise/Shattered Front (KH) (Interconnected oneshots): Two Oneshots that go together. First one was a challenge given to me by XionTheBlackRose (I had to kill my favorite character). The second oneshot was a sequel I wrote to it when I felt really depressed/angsty. (You can thank Live.die.be for that one). Basically gave me more exercise writing in Riku's POV, which I don't do often.
Swings (KH): Nice little Sokai oneshot I did based loosely on some leftover memories I had while visiting a park. Nice and fluffy, though there are some serious undertones to it as well.
It's Here (KH): This was a total geek out session. It basically involves Sora's and a few other character's reactions to the announcement of Kingdom Hearts 3 finally being in development! A glorious day for fans indeed, when you read this prepare to laugh.
Mist (KH): Another oneshot challenge given to me by XionTheBlackRose (Yep, we challenge each other a lot). This time I had to try my hand at the Vanitas/Riku pairing. I enjoyed writing it more than I thought I would. But for the most part, I'm just happy that my friend liked it.
Hagane (KH): First serious delve into Science Fiction (which is a genre I read a lot of when it comes to stuff outside of fanfiction). I'm really happy with how it turned out, it brings up some great topics for discussing what being human means and involves some anti-technology abuse if you squint I guess. I'm proud to say that this was the first fanfiction to ever have Sora and Data Sora as the two main characters.
A Hedgehog's Venom (Crossover with Sonic and KH): A humorous oneshot in which Sonic gets his payback after Sora humiliated him by purposefully losing on Sonic's video game. Makes more sense if you read it. This may connect to a bigger crossover series in the future.
A Cracked Raven (KH spin-off): This is a oneshot story I did based on xxIAmTheSkyxx's Brotherhood Chronicles. If you want to fully understand all aspects of the story, it's better to read both Lies Upon Lies and Irreversible first. I enjoyed writing Sora in this story, though it was a little difficult at first.
A Futile Conversation (TRC): This is a oneshot I did mainly focusing on Clone Syaoran and Syaoran. Takes place in the famous Tokyo arc, it was a fun practice with these characters.
Confrontations (TRC spin-off): This was a comedy challenge given a long time ago by Obsidian Butterfly back when Shattered Secrets was still in progress. It was in reference to a particular concern Touya had for Sakura, and it was our chance as the fans to write how we thought a certain conversation should have went. This was fun to write, though in my enthusiastic state it came out a little rushed.
A Little Problem Known as SORA (KH): This story was my first major multi-chapter fic for Kingdom Hearts. It's mainly Roxas-centric, but it also involves third person perspectives from Axel, Namine, Riku, Sora, and Xemnas. It's my longest story to date so far and it deals mainly with friendship, trust, and identity. When I first began this story I was actually planning to have it as a oneshot, but I'm very happy that I decided to make it a full story. Sequel: My Body is a PRISON
Ribbons (KH): This is so far like a threeshot. It involves the consequences and awkward explanation Sora is forced to undertake after plans for a confession lead to a huge misunderstanding. It's pretty humorous and the first time I really focused on romance (as far as the main topics discussed). I feel like I may continue this with connected oneshots since it's received a lot of hits for just three chapters.
The Mystery of Traveling (KH): Technically a twoshot, this is the first story I have in Kingdom Hearts that is focused mainly on King Mickey (along with being told from his POV in third person). It was fun to write, and I liked that I was able to add in some friendship scenes involving Mickey and Ventus. This is taken completely from Birth By Sleep during the first battle Ventus has with Vanitas (at the time I think I was still playing the game, so I didn't know what Vanitas' name was, which explains him being unnamed in the twoshot).

There are a lot of talented authors on this site, but I would like to make some shout outs to a few that I think are pretty awesome!
Kojab8890: What can I say, this person was my introduction to this site. His story, Avatar Book 4: Air, was the first story that I ever read in the Avatar fandom and is still one of my favorites. His other story, The Airbender Legacy, is also a great read. He doesn't really write here anymore, but his stories still inspire me to improve. Check him out!
Xx Senshi of Ankoku xX: This is another author that got me into this site, and I hereby name him the crossover king! He has a lot of stories up and they all connect to each other in some form or fashion. He's great with Sonic the Hedgehog characters and is even good at developing high class OC's. My personal favorite from him is The Apocalypse of Dimensional Armageddon.
This dude has some of the best action scenes to date! He is very good with describing things with the utmost detail. However, his stories aren't for the faint of heart. They are LONG and epic tales, but you WILL have to pay attention, especially once you get to The Aftermath and Nightmare Wars series. This author is a hard worker and really deserves way more reviews than he gets. Even if he is a word masochist, his style is pretty addicting and he's pretty good with dialogue. A definite must for you video game and cartoon fanatics out there!
sportie07: The only bad thing about this fantastic writer is that she's slow on updates, but her story is so good that I can let it slide. Her story is titled Avatar the Last Airbender and it really is a treat, especially how she works in Katara and Aang's relationships. There is a big twist involving Aang's fight with Ozai during Sozin's comet, but that's all you're getting out of me! :) This is the only story she has up right now, but it is still one of the greatest avatar stories compared to what's out in terms of kataang (from what I can see...)
Jomatto: Now this dude is really good with characterization, especially when you read his fics that are in first person. So far, he truly is one of my favorite writers from the Kingdom Hearts fandom! The way he writes Sora is refreshing from how most authors portray him. All of his fics are outstanding, but my favorites are Love Sick, Hotel Hearts, and Sora's Epic Journey Through FanFiction.
Tonight's The Night: This author is really a big inspiration to me. Every story I've read from her is nothing short of amazing. Almost all of her works are in third-person, and this is where she excels as she is great with descriptions and engaging you with simple narratives that carry the hidden complexities that some people may miss but the masters can appreciate. She is also an angst magnet, everything is angst almost. Her style is very addicting, you'll find yourself speeding through her works fast when you were planning on only reading a few chapters. That takes skill. My favorites from her include Reversal of Fate, Shatterheart, Hated, and Beginning of Existence.
Obsidian Buterfly: Now this author is very good with suspense and angst. Lot's and lot's of angst. I'd go as far as to nickname her the angst queen. She handles her characters very well, but be warned-she loves killing them off and torturing them. I swear, she comes up with the most annoying and cruelest villains! I have never hated a villain as much as I hate the unnamed character in her fic Broken (I actually ranted to the author about how much I hated the character. I was that mad!). Anyway, be careful when you read her stories because you will get hooked. Most of her stories are for Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle.
Kanarah J: I think this author is pretty good at making her characters seem relatable and realistic despite ludicrous circumstances or immeasurable odds. She's great at writing Riku and Sora from the Kingdom Hearts series. Her writing actually made me consider a pairing that I never really took seriously before. Her writing is very solid and flowing so it's quite easy to slip into her stories. My favorites from her are The Lesson, The Consequences of Resilience, and Give Way.
xxIAmTheSkyxx: This amazing author is underappreciated. Her work is really amazing, full of angst, heartfelt moments, and plenty of sarcasm along the way! She mainly writes for Kingdom Hearts, and she's not bad with making high class OC's either. She has a lot of twists in her work, especially in regards to seemingly innocent characters. My favorites from her are Bittersweet Journey, Lies Upon Lies, Irreversible (these two should be obvious since I did a spin-off based on them), and That One Side of You. I'm not sure what it is, but I just really care about her characters. No matter what situation they're in you always find yourself genuinely concerned about what's going to happen, and that's an important quality that every author should strive for.
DJNS: Uh, can I say one word? Awesome. Epic. Outstanding. Yeah, you really can't comment on this person, all of their work is amazing. Every. Single. Piece. Just read Reconstructed Destinies, bask in the awesome characterizations of Aang and Zuko, then have some soda. Seriously though, everything is golden here. Great characterizations, descriptions, engaging plot, and everyone is in character! It literally feels like they could have said whatever they were saying from the show! Definitely one of the best Avatar: The Last Airbender writers of all time.
XionTheBlackRose: This author is very good at coming up with new ideas and original twists in her work. She mainly works with canon ideas but she also dabbles with AUs. She has become one of my closest friends on here, and I'm truly happy to have met her. And that all started with the Fading Saga, a series she's already done with (she's also done with the sequel series to that saga as well). As for the stories you should read, I recommend What are Friends For?, Real or Imaginary, What Have You Done?, Fading, Falling Inside The Black, and Poison.
Step.On.Me2389: This is another one of the authors that got me into this site. Her story, The Avatar's Daughter, is one of the few stories I've read involving OCs as the main characters (it's easier for me to tolerate them when they are the children of the main characters, I guess). Her writing style is nice and she's one of those people good with fluff, but don't just judge the fluff alone. She has many moments of angst and tension within her stories as well.
Hannahble: I had to add this author after reading the most recent chapter for Miracles. I had to. This author's style is very descriptive, metaphorical, and simply beautiful. Her stories are very engaging and have a lot of heart. I don't think I could stand romance like this from anyone else but her, romance in itself is a really delicate topic anyway but this author really has a knack for it. It definitely helped me appreciate a pairing I didn't really read much before. My favorite stories from her are Miracles, The Nonsense of Life, and Stray Kitten.

Other Writer Info:
So how long have I been writing? Well, it's probably as long as when I first started drawing . . . and I can't remember when I first started doing that. Eh, let's go with the universal age of five, shall we?
I tend to see everything in movie format, which means every scene from my stories generally stems from conversations and cut scenes in my head. They literally play out that way, like watching little animation movies or projects.
Nevertheless, I guess I can share a little more about my writing style and preferences here.
10 Things to expect when reading from Justice Tokidoki
General: Whenever I have romance in any of my stories it tends to be paired equally with something creepy or angsty. I usually can't handle writing pure fluff (unless we're talking about Cardcaptor Sakura . . . and maybe Fairy Tail).
General: My stories tend to be LONG. Either long chapters, long lengths, or long update times (cringe here). I have a really hard time writing anything short (which explains the sluggish response for The Ever Gloom recently. Again, cringe).
General: I like complex plots, which basically means three things. You're likely to get confused, mind screwed, or . . . find something weird. Or a variation of all three (or we can just be nice and say unique).
Kingdom Hearts: Sora tends to be smart.
Kingdom Hearts: Tends to be a haven for a lot of spin-offs lately.
Avatar The Last Airbender: Tends to be more based in humor.
Cardcaptor Sakura: Fluff will always work here. ALWAYS.
Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle: Most stories will revolve or either include Syaoran/the Syaorans. He's my favorite character.
General: I tend to write about and from a guy's perspective. I usually dislike writing girls (particularly in first person POVs).
General: Everyone usually sounds smart/is more eloquent than they are in canon. Just my style and I'm working on toning it down for realistic purposes, but . . . well, at least now you know. Who would have thought, right?
Pairings I've read and have an interest in (If it is italicized it means I've written it as a focus for a story)
Sakura/Syaoran (Both CCS and TRC)
Syaoran/Clone Syaoran (TRC)
Sonic/Amy (Sonic the Hedgehog)
Sonic/Shadow (Sonic the Hedgehog)
As you can see here I'm pretty open when it comes to pairings. Sometimes, usually in an AU setting, I can see two characters coming together that most people hate or might not care for. Sure, some of these pairings are impossible to pull of in canon but that's part of what makes AUs more enjoyable in my opinion. But, again, it depends on the fandom.
