Author has written 3 stories for Lord of the Rings, and Hawaii Five-0.
Well I've been gone for a while, so I thought I'd update this profile thingy.
Alright...basic details: female college student, writing obsessively since around 2006, living in the United States.
Typical Genres: Family, friendship, drama, angst, h/c, and the occasional humor fic.
In both reading and writing I absolutely adore family dynamics. Which is mostly what you'll see from me. I don't write often anymore, but I try to make the stories I do create worth reading.
The past year fanfic has taken a backseat as I pursue more serious writing endeavors, but I still like to pop around the fandoms from time to time. Speaking of fandoms, my favorites include: Tolkien, Doctor Who, various superheroes associated with Marvel, Transformers, and...sci fi in general. I kind of jump around a lot.
When it comes to writing fanfiction, I believe in trying to keep with canon unless you're doing something that is intentionally AU, but I also don't think it's vital to keep to every detail. Fanfiction is about "unleashing your imagination" after all ;) Especially in really large universes like LotR, taking some creative license is part of the process.
Um...yeah, that's about all there is to know. So...Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy my stories. If you want to. Or something.
A Note on Reviewing
I don't always review...but when I do j try to make it worth it! That's why you may see ridiculously long reviews from me, but not for every chapter. I'm horrible at leaving reviews consistently for a variety of reasons, and k apologize profusely. Please know that if I suddenly stop reviewing or only leave a single review IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT. I have not lost interest, I have not been offended, and I have not died (hopefully). I'm just busy and terrified of any sort of commitment (apparently) and so I may fade in or out.
Don't rely on me or anyone else to make the story worth writing, though, because as soon as you have a story to tell, it's worth it by default. Don't write just for us, write for yourself and know that every word you get down is an accomplishment whether you have one review or one thousand.
Keep writing my friends! And stay fabulously snazzy!
