Author has written 1 story for Mass Effect.
Hello to anyone coming here after reading my fic! I'm pleased to see people showing interest in what I hope will be something unique within the fandom. That said, let's get something out of the way: the fic does not reflect my personal politics. I like some of the ideas I mention and dislike others; furthermore, I'm glad to live in the United States. It could be better, but it's certainly pretty good in the historical perspective. Anyways, the point is to write something interesting; I feel one way of doing so is to write something you're personally grappling with. So the politics and personalities will involve reflections (through actions usually, not so much essays) on what government is, how people interact with each other, and so on.
If you have feedback, please feel free to PM or review!
Just collecting some of my favorite reading material in one place before I forget it all. Let me know if I forgot to review a fic I favorited?
Current books: None! Thinking of starting the Amber series by Zelazny.
Current book recommendations:
Jhereg is a wonderful book with a lot of life to it; it displays an incredibly rich world, Dragaera, and introduces us to its wisecracking hero. If you like The Dresden Files or other fast-paced action stories, I heavily recommend it. Its author is also the source of some of my philosophy about writing, though he's far, far, far better.
Lord of Light is a more serious, more philosophical book (the series Jhereg begins becomes moreso over time though); it's a sci-fi epic with ridiculously broad and deep meaning. You'll like it, I promise.
