I was born in Washington state, grew up in Nevada, received my MA in English from Penn State University in 1999, and currently live in Houston, Texas. I've taught writing and composition (technical, general, and business, not the fun stuff) for both Penn State and the University of Phoenix On-line, and I've worked as a technical writer for over fourteen years, including stints doing documentation for the submarine community, NASA, and a major computer manufacturer.
My first novel, The Valkyrie, is available for your reading pleasure on Kindle (or on any other platform, through the Kindle app). You can obtain it here: The Valkyrie.
The second book in the series, The Goddess Denied, is now available as well. You can obtain it here: The Goddess Denied.
The forums: . [The original Fanfiction forums, which I thought I had locked down to prevent new posts, seemed to have attracted some sort of spam activity in a language that I don't speak. I have therefore deleted them in their entirety, on finding that activity on 6/18/15. All the original RP threads have long since been migrated to the Edda/SoR forums anyway.]

4/14/2015: Important note: I have been informed that Spirit of Redemption has, oh so ironically, been picked up and pirated by a website that has hundreds of other books and fanfics on it. (And I believe they require memberships and/or fees to read there). Fanfic.net is the primary way that you can read this story. A PDF version was assembled by CalliesVoice and posted at her website (). Those are the two legitimate ways I know of off-hand to grab the fic.
I have never given permission for SOR to be uploaded to this website. I have not now, nor will I ever receive monetary compensation for it. If someone is asking you for money to read my fic, that's a hoax. Don't give them a dime.
If you are reading Spirit of Redemption for the first time, then I highly suggest you read it to the end before you check out the forums, the wiki, or the fanart.
Change is a constant part of any universe and every character in this story changes, sometimes dramatically, over time. I'll leave it to you, the reader, to discover what happens. So please enjoy the story for what it is.
