Author has written 24 stories for Twilight, and Harry Potter. Time for a complete re-do...again. I'm an incredibly boring person. Very boring. Don't even bother to ask how absolutely boring I am... And I am still very, very, very boring. Twilight? Civil, nautical, or astronomical? OH...not that twilight? Well, Twilight is one of my favorite characters in "Spy X Family". I think it's funny that Loid's code name is "Twilight" and the gal he trained has the code name "Nightfall"...oh, not that twilight either? Hmmm..."Twilight of the Thunder God" is one of my absolute favorite songs. I heard the Sabaton version first, but the Amon Amarth version is pretty great too. Actually, there's a video on YT that has the two tracks overlaid and played simultaneously that's pretty awesome as well, but...what? Still not the right twilight?? Well, hmmm...let's see...I also love "The Twilight Zone". Grew up watching that and still love it. One of my favorite episodes is called "The Changing of the Guard", and it's about this teacher who is being forced to retire; he goes into his classroom to commit suicide because he feels like all his years of teaching were wasted and that none of his students ever really learned anything from him. But before he can carry out the act, a bunch of ghosts of his former students show up, and one by one they tell him how his words inspired them to great and heroic acts. It's an amazing episode...you should check it out if you can. Wait, what?? STILL not the right Twilight? Well, I dunno what else I can tell you... I have an original novel out, and am now done with Book Two, although it's not available for sale anywhere yet. :/ Aaaaaand...that's it. Any burning desire to know more, please feel free to PM me...and I will astound you with my boring boringness. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and will be forever. Amen. Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Some favorite quotes, to further bore you... “Eldest, that's what I am. Mark my words, my friends: Tom was here before the river and the trees; Tom remembers the first raindrop and the first acorn. He made paths before the Big People, and saw the Little People arriving. He was here before the Kings and the graves and the Barrow-wights. When the Elves passed westward, Tom was here already, before the seas were bent. He knew the dark under the stars when it was fearless - before the Dark Lord came from Outside.” ― J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring “There are not many persons who know what wonders are opened to them in the stories and visions of their youth; for when as children we learn and dream, we think but half-formed thoughts, and when as men we try to remember, we are dulled and prosaic with the poison of life. But some of us awake in the night with strange phantasms of enchanted hills and gardens, of fountains that sing in the sun, of golden cliffs overhanging murmuring seas, of plains that stretch down to sleeping cities of bronze and stone, and of shadowy companies of heroes that ride caparisoned white horses along the edges of thick forests; and then we know that we have looked back through the ivory gates into that world of wonder which was ours before we were wise and unhappy.” --H. P. Lovecraft "I wanted the hurtling moons of Barsoom. I wanted Storisende and Poictesme, and Holmes shaking me awake to tell me, "The game's afoot!" I wanted to float down the Mississippi on a raft and elude a mob in company with the Duke of Bilgewater and the Lost Dauphin. --Robert Heinlein |
