Author has written 7 stories for Batman, Batman the Animated Series, Jungle Book, and Ravenous.
Fan of Batman and stories that pay respect to the original creator’s character ideas.
I admit that I don’t write a lot of fan fiction, so I will probably be reading other people’s stories more than writing my own. You can however find a large collection of short stories, chapter stories, and poetry about random things and my own characters on my deviantart account.
I’m pretty much here for Batman stories, especially those featuring the Scarecrow. My obsession with him is as recent as last year, strangely enough. I watched Batman: The Animated Series as a kid, but I didn’t even remember any episodes featuring him. Then Batman Begins arrived to reintroduce me to the character. I had been trying to think of other characters who remind me of one of my villains from my novel Tabula Rasa, ex-neurologist Fredrick Jameson. Fun guy, hammy, likes removing people’s memories with his special drug and selling them as slaves. Somehow Cillian Murphy’s portrayal of Crane reminded me of him. He really looked like he enjoyed what he was doing, creepy as it was. From there I started re-watching B:TAS and buying comics to research the character. My fascination with psychology, especially negative emotions such as aggression and fear, no doubt shapes what characters I latch on to.
My avatar is a re-drawing of the hilarious derp-face Crane makes when he is fired in the B:TAS episode Nothing to Fear.
