Hi, I'm phoenixphlight. I'm a Huffleclaw. I don't really write a lot, though I have some plot bunnies that might someday escape. I love reading both books and fanfiction. I'm a devout Christian. I'm onand with the same username if you want to check me out there. I try to be honest and constructive in reviews, but I think I offer too much praise and too much criticism.
My grammar pet-peeve is people saying "I could care less". It doesn't make sense. You're trying to say that you don't care, but you are saying that it is possible for you to care less, which implies that you do care. The proper phrasing is "I couldn't care less".
Favorite books/series/authors: For the Win, The Seer and the Sword, John Green, The Green Glass Sea, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Squire's Tales series, Mistborn, Airman, The Halfblood Chronicles, Fahrenheit 451, and The Grapes of Wrath.
I've seen a few people express confusion about why other people Story Alert a finished story. Because this is something I do, I decided to explain it. For me, the Favorites list is a way of telling other people "This is a good fic. You should read it." The Alerts list for me is either updating fics that I want to finish or fics I want to re-read. Every fic on my Favorites list is on my Alerts list. I rarely put Authors on Author Alert. In fact, I have only three authors currently on that list that I do not know personally. Hope that helps.
