The Hunsford parsonage library inserts itself into Mr. Darcy's proposal. A response to an A Happy Assembly challenge.

Caroline Bingley overhears a conversation between Col. Fitzwilliam and Mr. Darcy and takes it quite literally. Teen rating for the juvenile use of innuendo and euphemism. This was written for AHA's Drabblefest December 2024. The prompt was Overheard and Misunderstood (Context is Everything).

Over the years Lydia Wickham begged for many things, money, trinkets, gowns... forgiveness. But not love. She would never beg for love, of that she was sure. Instead, Lydia would steal it, or at least the littlest snatches of it. Lydia's life, condensed into brief moments.

Elizabeth Bennet is touring Derbyshire with her Uncle and Aunt Gardiner. They stop to see Pemberley and Elizabeth encounters Mr. Darcy, a man she has never met before.
