Author has written 2 stories for Becoming Jane, and X-Men: The Movie.
First off I would like to give a special thanks to a friend of mine (and fellow Canuck) Eyes of Topaz for sharing this site with me through her own fan fiction. And also for her encouragement of my own writing. THANK YOU!!! x
I've been writing since I was a teenager but it was only about four years ago when I decided to finally start sharing some of writing on a site that I was a member of at the time. The other members there were so encouraging that I continue to share my writing with the same people. As I continued to get encouragement for my writing, I decided that I wanted to "expand my horizons" and post my writing beyond that site and share some of it with others and see if I get any readers. ;-D
I am a big James McAvoy fan and one of my favourite movies of his is "Becoming Jane"--I also love Jane Austen--so I decided that I wanted to try and write a story based on the ""Becoming Jane" movie and a couple of years ago I started getting some ideas for what I could do with it. This was my first writing project for this Fan Fiction site and is a continuation of the movie which I completed a year ago.
Sept., 2012 -- On the opposite end of the spectrum now, I fell in love with the X-Men: First Class movie before I even saw it! I had never seen any of the X-Men movies so when I learned that James was cast as young Charles Xavier, I went out and bought the other movies so that I would know what to expect when I saw First Class. I ended up loving the original X-Men movies as well! So much so that I could hardly wait for First Class. I lapped up every picture that Fox FINALLY allowed to be released as well as the videos/trailers from the movie. By the time I finally got to see it, I was NOT disappointed at all. It, and young Charles Xavier have become one of my favourite James characters...but...I can't have Charles without Erik...these two just seem to 'belong together' as far as I'm concernened and despite the vast amount of X-Men fan fic stories out there, I can only hope that my own ends up being somewhat comparable to the rest of those great stories. ;-D
