Author has written 34 stories for Animorphs, Legend of Zelda, Arthur C. Clarke, Harry Potter, Greek Mythology, Giver, Minority Report, Book X-overs, To Kill a Mockingbird, Myst/Riven, Peter Pan, Star Wars, Undergrads, and Wrestling. News: February 5th, 2010: Nothing story related, but I'm now dating a most wonderful, sweet, shy young woman named Shelley, and haven't felt this happy in so long. Then again, maybe I'll start writing again. Likely not fanficition, but poety, et al. December 20th, 2009: Long time no see. I've posted an incomplete version of A Step Back From Perdition, which may never be completed. I'm not much into writing fan fiction anymore, and am focusing on comedy now. No promises though. Enjoy. August 30th, 2006: Closet Bohemia has hit 100 reviews! Thanks everyone who gave me feedback! April 30th, 2006: Not a whole lot of news. Kristina and I broke up a few weeks back (not surprising, but still painful). I also experimented with LSD, and was pleased with the results. It will not be a regular thing, however. And I may be getting a new job soon. No story news, the writer's block is still firmly in place. But after reading the Rama cycle (plus the two off-shoots by Gentry Lee), the Catteni cycle by Anne McCaffery, George Carlin's Brain Droppings, and Napalm And Silly Putty, Lewis Black's Nothing's Sacred and Stephen Davis' Jim Morrison: Life Death Legend, I'm starting back into Harry Potter again. Fan fiction at the moment until I get the first two books back, and Order Of The Phoenix. Maybe I'll be struck by the writing bug again, maybe not. Also depends on how much I play World Of Warcraft :P. March 27th, 2006: I haven't written a whole lot since my last update. However, I have started a few new fics that will likely not be finished, as usual. But my life has taken a turn for the better, as I'm now seeing a wonderful girl named Kris. Hopefully, she'll be able to inspire me to keep writing. December 17th, 2005: Finally updated my profile (duh). Even more story ideas have attacked me. I've got a nice list now. December 13th, 2005: I've started accounts with Fiction Alley and Sink Into Your Eyes. I may find some other sites, so that I can increase my coverage. I've been striken with several one-shot ideas. I have no idea if or when I'll get around to writing and posting them, but I'm hoping so. Mostly fluff, as usual. December 11th, 2005: All of the Animorphs stories are hereby on Indefinite Suspension, as I've lost interest in the series. Who knows? Maybe in a few years I'll pick them up again. Anneth Lagamo's artwork, "The Aurors And The Bookworm" can be found here. Check out the rest of her website as well. There are some fantastic pieces there, fan or original. About Raine Lionheart:
A Proud Member Of Part-Time Deck Hand On The Name: I want to explain Raine Lionheart. For the record, it is not an homage to, nor does it have anything to do with Final Fantasy VIII. I only found out about Squall Leonheart and the character Raine after I started playing FFVII back in 2002 or so, and visited several Final Fantasy pages. The reason I sought a name was due to my joining the Happy Hogwarts Place RPG in January '02. Then, as that progressed into some very fun and interesting storylines, I began writing Harry Potter And The Pupil Of Redemption. And I felt like making it a self-insertion fic. So obviously, the character was to be named Raine. But at this time, my pen name had gone through several stages - I think that I started with Anthony Hart (another character in my stories - Enemy Mine on my FictionPress account, and in the Tobias' Legacy cycle I never finished; there may be others I'm forgetting), then used Black Phoenix for a while (or perhaps I used this as a brief replacement for Raine Lionheart - that, or it was the one just before Raine). I think that I even went by my own name for a while - Jordi Daniel Sharpe. Others might have included Viper and Kazz... In any case, it's been almost four years since I started writing as Raine Lionheart, and I don't see any end to it. I may do other stories under another character name (Lataerez Wolfstrom) which is my black metal persona, whilst Raine Lionheart is my main metal persona (power metal mostly ). Raine Lionheart also serves as my online alias, some video game character names (Perfect Dark), my future leather crafter name, my future pen name (as far as published works go) and possibly my future first born's name (sans Lionheart), depending on my actually having a child, and my partner's opinion. Now, let me explain the name: Raine: This quickly became my favorite first name for a boy. Just as I was getting into heavy metal, I was still big into Our Lady Peace. And I have always thought that Raine Maida is a very attractive person (now I just think he's hot), and I thought that his name was unique. Somehow, Raine just felt like a good name. Drake: Just a name that I like, as far as middle names go. I suppose that Drake could be a reference to fire/ice/water drakes, which are mini-dragons (fire-drakes are a part of Lands Of Lore III). It's there mostly for convenience and aesthetics. Lionheart: This is the Harry Potterverse we're dealing with. You have names like Lovegood, Lupin, Weasley and Sprout - indications to their respective characters. My character Raine, being that loyal, honorable rogue, needed a last name that spoke of his character. Luckily, as I've read the Rama series several times, I've come across Richard the Lionheart's name several times. It seemed to fit. So I guess that the name is an homage to both Raine Maida and Richard the Lionheart. It's been a part of me for years now, and has become an almost separate entity. And now I can yell at people for accusing me of stealing the name from FFVIII. Ha! The Facts: Age: 23 (DOB: 06/14/86) The Favorites: Music Genres: Heavy Metal as a rule. My top three bands are Pink Floyd, Blind Guardian and Evergrey. I adore power, black, death, thrash and progressive metal. Recently, I've been listening to a lot of punk. I also like industrial, techno and other electronica forms. I'm also a proud opera/classical/classic rock/alternative/instrumental fan.
