Dear Readers of our,
It’s been a ridiculously long time since we last updated. For that I’m really, very sincerely sorry. No, we haven’t decided to stop updating. We love this story to bits and we are going to finish it, like we promised when it began. But the muse has been really difficult this update, and an apology/explanation from us has been long overdue. For us, this project has been going on for more than a year. It takes more and more of us to push out a chapter. The emotional investment for what I call quality is a blessing and a curse when it comes to writing. The sequel trailer blew some wind out of our sails, in some way. Seeing canon come alive and all the speculation that comes with it really threw off our imagination for our little story I guess. For weeks, I’ve put off messages and projects to sit and stare at a Text Edit hoping for inspiration to strike, and I did force out around 5000 words of this chapter’s word count. It isn’t my best writing, and I’m still not finished enough for a post. This update is just to apologize for the long wait we’ve given you guys, and to assure you all we haven’t let this story go. I want to post this update very soon, actually today was what I was hoping for (August 30) but I can’t make guarantees as it is. I need to find that old place I can immerse myself into my characters again. Because I do want to give you all the best story possible.
Thank you so much for sticking with us this far.
Hello! My name online is Glory and the following links are the main sum of my online presence.
I felt like my profile needed a real update (as of May 31, 2013), since it's been more than a year since I joined the How to Train Your Dragon fandom and started the fanfiction (HTTYD2: Dragon Whisperer) that has taken over my life for more than nine months and counting.
I'm a whole different person now than the one I was when I created this account in 2011. How to Train Your Dragon changed me in fundamental ways, in long-term ways. I met people, learned things about the world, and I can honestly say I grew up. Compared to my pre-HTTYD self, I'm more confident, sarcastic, and honest with people. Thanks, Hiccup and Toothless. And I thank the Lord who I have no doubt had a hand in bringing this unforgettable movie into my house.
(Athat explains everything of why me and my sister love How to Train Your Dragon.)
If you want to know about me, I can give you a few brushstrokes. I'm a Christian, so yes I have values, convictions, and some things I won't do, or at least try not to. I don't believe in slash pairings, but I will not hate on them. I'm a teenage girl, around 20 years of age, and I'm hoping to work in the 3D animation industry. I love deep, philosophical thoughts, and I love stories (whether in art or writing) which possess those.
