I'm a not-so-old lady who writes old school anime fan-fiction (mid-90s vintage, so no giant robots, but there is a lot of dramedy with magical realist elements). Mainly I write stories about Ranma 1/2, because I find the setting fun and the whole process rather nostalgic.

I should note that, while I think different takes on the characters is incredibly awesome, I will state that I tend to write with some amount of queerness in mind. By queer, I don't necessarily mean straightforward BL/GL stuff (as cathartic as than can be to read). I mean, thinking of ways in which self, identity, and love can emerge out of adversity or beyond societal barriers. Hence why series like Ranma and the Persona games are so exhilarating to write for. Expect trans* issues, genderqueer characterizations, bisexuality and polyamory to possibly play a role (though at the moment my current stories focus more on identity and gender than on relationships).

Occasionally, I'll drop into a recent series (especially the works of Takako Shimura) or even a game setting (toying with the Persona Series, especially after the P3 movie comes out).
