Author has written 1 story for Frozen.

Hello world!

I've been around a while, but I just started posting so I figure I ought to have something on my profile. As my username suggests, I am a huge fan of all things Tamora Pierce. I have also been known to visit the Friends, Criminal Minds, and Harry Potter fandoms (and maybe some others I'm forgetting at the moment)

I've been a writer since I was 8 or so, but I was usually writing with a friend and since we tended to bite off more than we could chew (most of our projects were supposed to be novels) and were a mix of original work and fanfiction, I never really got around to posting anywhere. Thus, the only people who have read my work are friends.

My current story was inspired by the movie Frozen. I loved it, but, coming to the story as a 20-something, I just felt like there was so much more, so much deeper, that this story, this world, was begging to tell. So, in my usual fashion, I just started writing one night. Eight pages later, I had three or four word docs of notes and ideas for things that would happen later, many much later. Since then, I've been picking at the story as inspiration strikes me, but recently I've been ignoring it. The part I'm at is difficult for me to write, so even when I'm inspired, its not to write THIS part. After several long bouts of reading fanfic, I thought it would be cool to see what other people thought and that, if anyone ends up reading, the extrinsic motivation might bring me back when I get distracted. Yes, I came up with this idea while trying to take a nap - I'm a pisces, and I think there's something to the idea that we think best laying down - I get all my crazy ideas that way.

So, though I've been around a while, for years and years as an occasional reader and for the last few as a member and commenter, I'm largely new to a lot of this. So, read if you want, PM me if you have words of wisdom or anything. I'm a grad student and in classes year round, so expect lags, but don't be afraid to send out a little reminder if you want more.
