Author has written 20 stories for Young Justice, and Batman.
New profile and new name = New start.
I will probably do YJ based fanfics on this account. Maybe, maybe not.
Now a few authoresque things about me:
I'm an uber busy person as of late. Probably a bad time to actually start a new account...but meh. My inner Unboundy (this is a result of myself trying to familiarize with the nickname) just wanted to break free and release all the suppressed plot bunnies, be it one-shots or multi-chaptered. Must I say that I'm part of the crowd on fanfic that is the random weird fangirl? Nah, I'm joking, we're all normal here...(at least I think I am) Okay rambling...but here's the thing: if I start a new story that is multi-chaptered (which I'm pretty sure is not going to happen anytime soon) please be patient. As I've said before, I'm really busy with RL.
I am a major review whore, but, alas, I get tired of begging for my addiction, so you all can definitely see that I'm not blatantly trying to say: "Review please?" Or try to threaten you guys with not updating sooner. Those are just child's play now. *tsks at the memory of her younger self*
Now, what I do more than writing is...yup, you guessed it: reading. Obviously, tis not that hard to figure out. We are on a site called fanfiction.net anyway. Now I follow along with the rule: "Treat others the way you want to be treated." On this site this means that if I really loved your story or thought it decent enough, I'll review. Most of the time my reviews are of encouragement, but also stating my reactions to certain parts. Trust me, I love hearing about people's reactions to certain parts. I'm pretty sure other fanfic writers love that too.
ALSO: When I have a fic that completely says complete, newsflash, it will probably stay that way. So there's no use in putting it on story alert. Pay attention to what you're clicking.
-Favorite Pairings: (basically any Artemis pairing I'm down with because she's a total BAMF like that. This is just in the order I most prefer.) Artemis/Wally (I haven't written one with the two of them yet.)
Artemis/Superboy (this I really want to read, at the moment)
All time favorite slash pairing (if written correctly): Roy/Kaldur
I'm not a big fan of Artemis/Megan as a couple, but I'll gladly read a friendship fic between the two.
-Least Favorite Pairing: Wally/Robin, I was actually a shipper at the beginning, but the constant fics of the two got incredibly annoying. Writers left off the BROMANCE!! THAT IS MADNESS! The bromance is what makes this pairing so full of awesome, but for some reason one of the two turns all mushy and gushy, and it just seems totally OOC. But if you want to prove me wrong and bring me back to that side, you can PM me a link of your story to convince me.
Here's a few tips that catch my attention when it comes to searching for a good fanfic to review, which I think also applies to some other readers here on fanfiction.
1.) Title: Should be something witty. I'm not much for titles, as, I, myself have trouble with coming up with titles, but please don't make them mostly one worded titles or something that sounds cliché.
2.) Summary: If I said the title should be witty, then the summary should be this big smoldering ball of awesome wittiness. Ahaha, I kid, to a certain degree. What will put me off is how poorly someone summarizes their own story. That either shows that you don't know what you're even writing about or you don't care enough to put any effort in the summary, so, obviously, you didn't put any heart into your story.
3.) The actual story: So if you managed to pull me in with previous two now comes the big judgement of the story.
-One thing that will make me automatically move my cursor to the back button and press down on the left button of my mouse is grammar. Now, I know my grammar isn't all that, but if an author does not know when to make a new paragraph, or capitalize, or punctuate decently, that just shows how much more education they need.
-Just how much of an OOC did you write. There's a certain point where I can take OOCness. I'm alright if Superboy seems more of a smirker than a blank faced teen, but if he just suddenly full out starts smiling within the first paragraph, then either there was a sudden change that anyone but the author knows about that got him like that or he went bonkers. Here's another example: Artemis being scared, well the author could describe her breaking into cold sweat and trying to remain calm on the outside but panicking inside, not suddenly going all girly and screaming with tears streaming down her face.
Okay...that above part makes it seem like I'm a total "female dog"... Honestly, I'm not. (My friends would say otherwise, but that's cause I'm very blunt to them XD
Anything relating to me IRL:
No lie guys, I used to live in Japan. ahaha I think that got your attention.
Bubble Tea, I completely crave the shiz.
Green Tea Ice Cream is the shiz. There is no way you can say anything to change my mind about that. (along with sweet potato ice cream too.)
I have a complex mind. I may analyze things in a wayward way, so don't be offended if it goes completely against what you think.
Basically, that's all I want to give out at the moment. Anonymity is my thing on ff.net.
1. Cassandra Cain is Nightwing in Young Justice. Girl is fierce and my favorite out of the batfam. So expect a few mentionings of her in some of my stuff.
2. Conner and Artemis actually have a few heart to hearts, when they're not getting it on...
3. Artemis' nickname for Wally is SpedEx. (As far as I know, I'm the only one who has ever used it.)
Message (7/11/12): So my summer has been unsuccessful, fanfiction wise, due to visiting family members in California and then moving back to Japan (yay!). So I had no reason to write since I was busy, but now that I've settled in. I'll try to finish the prompts I got on my tumblr.
Stalk Me Here
I also have a tumblr page, which I have decided to do something on. Which is post fanfics there as well as have people come give me prompts if they so wish.
So follow me if you want. I'll probably give my opinions every now and then, but if you want something specifically written, drop a prompt in my ask. I'm not sure if I'll be able to fill it or not, but I'll try.
If you didn't already know, this is Fanfiction. Obviously I do not own any of the shows/books I write these stories from. Blatantly saying, I do not own any of the characters I use. I borrow them, and return them, respectively.
