Author has written 2 stories for Touhou Project, and Five Nights at Freddy´s.

Gaius (or Publius) Cornelius Tacitus was a Roman historian and writer. I think Suetonius is a better author, but Tacitus has the cooler name. My pen name is Gaius Cornelius Tacitus because Gaius sounds better than Publius, and plain old Tacitus, my preferred handle, was already taken. So now you know.

I'm a guy who spends far too much time on the internet or playing video games. But when I'm not doing that I'm often reading, and sometimes I even do writing on my own. And because of the amount of hours put into said writing, I finally decided to start an account here to share it, lest it sit unread on my hard drive for the rest of my life.

My absolute favorite author is Terry Pratchett, though Jim Butcher is awesome too, and I'm a fan of Sandy Mitchell and Dan Abnett. I've also gone through Piers Anthony, Michael Crichton, Tom Clancy, Harry Turtledove, and H.P. Lovecraft phases.

My absolute favorite TV show is Mystery Science Theater 3000, though I also like Futurama and Monty Python. I don't actually own a television anymore, and get by on DVD releases.

I like a lot of video games. Command & Conquer is a long-time favorite, Blizzard's equivalents less so. I have a love-hate relationship with World of Warcraft and probably need an intervention to break the cycle of abuse. I have a lot of love for Valve and therefore Half-Life, Team Fortress 2, and Left 4 Dead. Minecraft is fun, Call of Duty has been going downhill since Modern Warfare 2, and Fallout 3 is pretty awesome when it works but New Vegas is better. Love the Legend of Zelda series, and will happily gush about Chrono Trigger or complain how Chrono Cross doesn't live up to it. I have never played any of the Touhou games, but can't get enough of the music and find the characters strangely captivating.

I'm a retired Dungeons and Dragons DM, and own a frankly embarrassing amount of Warhammer 40,000 models. I haven't played many games since 5th Edition came 'round, but am still proud of my Space Marine company and Ork horde.

TV Tropes has enhanced my life. Using the clues I've cunningly hidden in this very profile, you may be able to ascertain what I go by over there.

Note that my profile consists mostly of references to media I like, rather than giving much information about me as a person. This may be significant.
