Author has written 6 stories for Castle.
So, here I am, finally finding time to write on my profile, while I have one story that is just the epilogue away from being finished! I'm into the more obvious crime TV shows... Castle, Bones, NCIS, Criminal Minds... I found Body of Proof and Covert Affairs a few months ago, and I have gotten totally hooked on Once Upon A Time! I was never much one for writing stories before I went back to school this year and was shoved in the English class that was more creatively inclined because the one I wanted to do wasn't running; as a result I have started to dabble in Castle FanFiction.
"Just One Night" - Set post LA, the end of season 3 nowhere in sight Very AU. What can the events of a single alcohol filled night lead to? Something big? On the contrary it could lead to something very small indeed... - Finished.
"Life With Twins" - Sequel to Just One Night. Follows the trials and tribulations of Kate and Rick and Family and Friends between the final chapter and epilogue
"Ten Ways To Use Your Handcuffs" - The result of me finding out the name of episode 4x10. One shot.
"Where Have You Been All My Life?" - My response to the promo for 'the blue butterfly' a one shot from two different POV's
"Trapped By a John Killer" - Has been back-seated but I will hopefully pull it out of the garage and dust off the cobwebs over my summer break before I (hopefully) start uni next year.
"Katherine Beckett, Lady of the House" - 1838, London. Miss Katherine Beckett is almost twenty-two and hasn't yet married after her childhood friend broke her heart six years earlier. But what will happen when a rich, hansom stranger with an impressive title walks into her father's ball that summer, and his main aim is to sweep her off her feet?
I also have a "chapters by alphabet" Castle story in the woodworks, which even my critique doesn't know about so this should be a surprise for her! :D
The critique I speak of is one of my school friends charmed4lifekaren she writes Harry Potter (books) fanfiction mostly, go and check it out if you're into that, I'm going through the slow and painful process of Beta-ing all her stories...
Due to my love of the English language I've read this about three times, all the way through, before updating it! I have now updated my beta profile!
One more random thing:
My Resignation From Adulthood:
I am hereby officially tendering my resignation as an adult.
I have decided I would like to accept the responsibilities of a 5 year-old again.
I want to go to McDonald’s and think that it’s a four-star restaurant.
I want to sail sticks across a fresh mud puddle and make a road with rocks.
I want to think Smarties are better than money because you can eat them.
I want to lie under a big oak tree and make lemonade with my friends on a hot summer’s day.
I want to run around with bare feet all day.
I want to bake cookies and sell them at the gate.
I want to wait for my Dad to come home from work – what is this place called work?
I want to return to a time when life was simple.
When all you knew were colours, numbers up to ten, (and to count higher meant lifting your arms above your head), and nursery rhymes.
Not knowing answers didn’t bother you, because you didn’t know what you didn’t know and you didn’t care.
You didn’t have to bring home the bacon, and you didn’t even have to eat it if you didn’t want to.
You spoke only the truth, didn’t care who heard you have a tantrum.
You cried when it hurt, and when it hurt, someone kissed it better and put a Band-Aid on it.
All you knew was to be happy, because you were blissfully unaware of all the things that now make you worried or upset.
I want to think the world is fair.
That everyone is honest and good.
I want to believe that anything is possible.
I want to be oblivious to the complexities of life and be overly excited about the little things again.
I want to live simple again. I don't want my day to consist of deadlines, computer crashes, mountains of paperwork, depressing news, how to survive more days in the month than there is money in the bank, doctor bills, other bills, gossip, illness and loss of loved ones.
I want to believe in Father Christmas, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, the power of smiles, hugs, a kind word, truth, justice, peace, dreams, the imagination, mankind, and flying a kite.
So, here’s my cheque book and my car keys, my office keys, my credit card bills and all my statements.
I am officially resigning from adulthood.
And if you want to discuss this further, you’ll have to catch me first, cause…Tag! You’re it
