Author has written 18 stories for Harry Potter, NCIS: Los Angeles, Avengers, Revolution, and Arrow.
Just a humble fan of great writing who sometimes has ideas...
Ok, so I've had the above sentence as my profile for god knows how long... and I thought that it was about time to add some other stuff. :)
First of all - I'm a sucker for Harry Potter story ideas. I have more random ideas written down, more songs with notes by them about this or that character... but most of those I hide over in my very supportive community of HP writers. (Shoutout to the THREAD!)
However a comment on the stories I have posted up:
Weasleys to the Rescue: I love this one. It started off as silly fluff, is still silly fluff, but somewhere along the way we discovered some interesting characters and a plot (no really!) and it's now way longer than I'd ever have imagined it could be. We may go back through it for some tightening up, but for now we're going to move forward with a slightly new writing strategy (outtakes!) and plan to post chapters every few weeks. We are NOT going to abandon it. Seriously.
Missed That Girl: The only one of my songfics to ever get written. I'm a die-hard R/H girl, and nothing you can ever say will convince me otherwise. I'll read some other pairings, if they're well written, and pass them along to my crazy doubting friends, but I don't think I'll ever write a Hermione or Ron with someone else story.
The Messenger: This is a very short little something that I wrote for a challenge a few months ago. I'd meant to post it up here, but never got around to it. I'd always been intrigued by the comment Moody made in GoF and ran with it. (and I know it wasn't the real Moody, but I'm sure Crouch Jr. could have heard about all the trouble from his dad or the other DEs)
Secondly - both of my sisters are on FF.net too! Ennui-eaf is hellset on embarrassing us other two by writing unfairly good HP drama with romance and mystery and then finishing them. Makes us look bad. Caketwins is way way funnier than I am on any good day. And she has a Draco/Ginny story. ;) Both will rock your fanfiction loving selves
And that's really all I have to say. Go read the HP books!
So I've been quiet for the last two years, doing grad school and lots of travel. I have a few new fanfic addictions to add to my unflagging love of HP, and they're mostly TV shows right now. Merlin, NCIS LA, Sherlock, New Girl, the Avengers movie universe, and the Hunger Games books.
Should you choose to accept it: Short one-shot that was more of an exercise than anything. I love the Deeks/Kensi pairing and will one of these days come up with a plot that's fun enough to write. But this happened, and I figured I'd post.
Eight Minutes: In which I put Deeks and Kensi in a rather sticky situation that they haven't yet faced in the show. This could become a theme...
Shadows of the truth: Avengers (the movie) - Clint and Natasha are fascinating. This is a peek into their history, as I imagine one key impediment to their future happiness.
The list, or how not to date Luna Lovegood: Harry Potter again! This was a bittersweet brainstorm when I was contemplating just how young our favorite wizards really were at the almost-end of Deathly Hallows. Canon, so you know how it ends. But I liked it, and Harry and Ginny just insisted on being helpful.
