IMPORTANT UPDATE!!!!!!!!!! April 9, 2015
Hey everyone! I realize that I haven't updated stories in quite a while...a while being an understatement. I know that I have stories posted here that are only one chapter at the most, and that quite a few of you had asked for the next chapter and to update soon. Probably the one story I have on here that's suffered the most from that is my Lord of the Rings story, The Return of an Heir. This is not only because of the frequency of writer's block that has occurred over the years, but because I want you guys to read quality stuff! That...and the fact that I'm a total nerd and am constantly playing video games, and life catches up with you too! We've all been there...but back on the quality stuff tangent. I try to put as much effort into research for my stories as I can, especially period pieces like any of my Pirates of the Caribbean stories I have on here, because I want to be as accurate as possible. I am in the process of finally getting my novel underway, just barely keeping hold of the original plot that I have come up with in what's left of my mind (I am slowly losing it between work and practically raising my siblings), and I want to put accuracy to good use. I want to show the world, and anyone who decides to be my editor or producer, my skills as a writer and that I am willing to do what it takes to put good quality stuff out there for you guys to enjoy! I want to be in the same caliber as J.K. Rowling and George R. R. Martin (I haven't fully read any of his works yet, but I did read an excerpt of Game of Thrones and I can tell I will fully enjoy his work), but not be the same as them. Long story short, I am truly sorry that I take FOREVER to update...just give me time and please forgive me!
And to everyone who reviews my stories, I'm sorry that I don't respond to them as often as I probably should. When I started getting all these reviews, I promised myself that I would take the time to respond to each and every one of them. But if I keep breaking my promises to myself, how can I expect to keep my promises to you guys? Starting from here on out, I will take the extra time to read and reply to your reviews, answering any questions you have (without giving out too much detail) and reminding you that I am going to continue to write. I promise! Cross my heart and hope that the Master gives me a quick death. I don't want to be tortured like Captain Jack Harkness was. That would be...well, torture, for lack of a better word. Your reviews do mean a lot to me, I swear they do.
Well, I believe that's all I have to say. I will work hard try to update a chapter for each story that is still considered "In-Progress". My main focus will probably be A Broken Heart Mended, mainly because it is my absolute favorite to work on and I absolutely love it. I really want to be able to finish it because I plan on it being the longest story that I will ever work on. As for the others...well, we'll see how that goes. But I am not, I repeat, am not abandoning anymore stories. The only one I know for sure that I pretty much abandoned was my Remixed Pirates series, mainly because it wasn't getting the attention that I wanted it to get. If people start to show interest in that again, then I might consider picking it up again. But for now, I'll let it rest in peace.
I hope I haven't lost too many of you! If I did, I understand. But it'll definitely be sad to see you go.
Here's to a brighter future on FF.net and to more frequent updates!
P.S Oh, almost forgot! I've cleaned up my profile page a bit. If there's something that was on here, and you're missing it, feel free to shoot me a message and I'll send you the link (because it most likely was a link to something that I didn't think was necessary to have on here anymore). Love you guys!
I will update this section the further my stories progress!
Re: Kingdom Hearts:
Q: What does Pyn's Keyblade look like exactly?
A: Pyn's Keyblade is a combination of Ven's, Terra's and Aqua's Keyblades, which can be noticed on the blade portion of the weapon. The hilt it just like Sora's Kingdom Key. The keychain at the end is a Wayfinder. Pyn has no idea why her own Keyblade looks familiar to her, nor the Wayfinder. I will update my profile pic so that you can get a good look at it! :)
Q: Did Pyn have a crush on Ven?
A: I don't want to go into too much detail on that, but they have been best friends since he arrived at Land of Departure.
Q: How does Pyn know Vanitas?
A: Because Aqua is a Keyblade Master, she is allowed to take on an apprentice or stay behind to protect the Land of Departure. Since Master Eraqus is protecting that world, so to speak, Aqua kind of took Pyn on her journey as an apprentice. Pyn did see Vanitas in Radiant Garden before he disappeared, and because she asked Aqua, she was told what his name was. She doesn't actually know who he was. Aqua took Pyn as far as Neverland before she decided to take her back to the Land of Departure.
