Author has written 9 stories for Supernatural, Glee, Harry Potter, and New Girl.
Name: Brooklynne (Brooke/BB/B./ThePrettiestPoison/CandyAppleEyes)
Age: Old Enough (if you can't trust the internet, who can you trust, right? :D Ya perves.)
Location: Califorina, USA.
I like: Supernatural, Harry Potter, writing, theatre (acting in particular), art (just sketching--I don't have nice paints to practice with), autumn (specifically just before winter), mild weather, zebra print, music (anything from classical piano to rap, punk, folk, jazz, post-hardcore, metal--anything that isn't 100% screams, growls, and gutteral noises, or country), photography, cooking, cleaing (admittedly, but that's because I have outrageous OCD), history and mythology, ghosts and paranormal stuff like that, origami swans, stuffed animals (don't own but one).
I don't like: condescending people, that stupid 'duck face' in pictures (--purse the lips because it's 'super cute right? I'm like...practicing!'), people who jump to conclusions, judgemental people, biggots, southern dialects, ignorance, conformists, technology, pre-teens, birds, swimming, people who call me 'Tiny, Twiggy, Little One, Brokie-poo, Matchstick, or...my favorite...Brookins'.
Favorite poet: Maya Angelou
Favorite author: JK Rowling (Harry Potter--if you didn't know that, you live in a cultural wasteland worse than where I currently am), Christipher Moore (A Dirty Job, Lamb, Fool), Cornelia Funke (Inkheart), Ken Follett (Pillars of the Earth), William Goldman (The Princess Bride), Rudyard Kippling (The Jungle Book), Charlotte Bronte (Wuthering Heights), S. Fitzgerald (The Great Gatsby)
Favorite food: Anything Italian, although it's hard to mess up a good cheeseburger...
What got me started: There isn't much of a story here except for the fact that I just didn't grow up with a lot. I grew between a town of two thousand people (you sort of had to make your own entertainment for rainy days), and rotating apartments whenever my mom switched boyfriends. We eventually settled into a house with my stepdad, but I never got rid of the idea that the best way to make your own entertainment was to make up your own stories. So I would see movies here and there, little glimpses when I was over somewhere or when we were channel flipping, and I would catch an image that would spark a story. And I'd write them down in notebooks and that's where that got started.
What I do outside of writing FF: I write mostly original works--short stories that aren't so short, and a whole lot of poetry.
I'm also an actress. Theatre, so it's not a big deal. My high school's thespian troupe went to the state competition where I earned a spot on the mainstage, and I've earned a few leads in my high school career. As of now, this has been put on a temporary and hopefully breif hiatus due to college and work. But I hope to return soon.
In the beginning I thought that this account would be solely dedicated to FanFiction of the Supernatural persuasion, simply because I don’t write FanFiction that often because I have a tendency to be completely satisfied with the story that the original author tells.
But I’ve recently found that there are places in the story line of Harry Potter open to interpretation—gaps in the stories of the minor or supporting characters which JK Rowling leaves up to the imagination of the reader. There are so many brilliant and uniquely individual characters with their own backgrounds, could you imagine if she hadn’t left anything to us?
To make a long story longer, there are a few other series which I think I’ll be delving into, mainly Harry Potter simply because it’s one of the only series that I have devoted any substantial length of time into. Supernatural was maybe the only other exception, and I wrote to that because 1. There were way too many adventures to be had and 2. It is just too much damn fun to write to.
And Glee. Because as difficult as it is to write story line into series that's still going, there's always room for change. And it's a whole lot of fun.
Comments and critique are always appreciated. I'm a big girl, I can take it I swear c: I've been writing for a long time. Most of my writing is posted on my deviantart along with my photography:
But I am more active on Tumblr (and by more active I mean I am always on Tumblr when I'm not working, doing the college thing, or out with friends):
I would love some watchers and followers on those two sites, if you decide you like my original works as well.
I'm pretty up for a chat any time. I like meeting people.
"The farther you run from the person you used to be, the faster the ground beneath you seems to crumble." ~Moi (don't believe me if you want, it's one of those fleeting moments I have at glimpsing the deeper scales of human emotion)
"Eagles may soar, but weasels never get sucked into jet engines." ~Unknown
"Give a man a fire and you warm him for a day. Set a man on fire and you warm him for a lifetime." ~Unknown

"Hey! Ass-but!" ~Castiel/Misha Collins
(Those are the only Supernatural Quotes I'm going to allow myself to post, because if I type anymore, I'll go on for days.)
"I don't want to acheive immortality through my work. I want to acheive it through not dying." ~Woody Allen (of course)
