![]() Author has written 17 stories for Harry Potter. After having survived 68 years of travelling around the sun I don't think this quite the place to tell you my life story. It's filled with some horrible failures and some wonderful surprises; which means I guess that I'm as normal as everyone else. I consider myself a good example of stumbling frequently but picking myself up and keeping on going. I am: - a disabled vet (US Air Force). Enlisted and officer - *basic training TWICE !* - a retired cartographer (Now you know where the penname came from) - guilty of being a "shipper" at heart so you'll see some familiar pairings in the things I try - endowed with a horrible sense of humor; Life is to be enjoyed after all! It's been about 10(!) years since I started this little writing endeavor. I have learned a bit about about myself and writing from all the comments that have been written to and about me. I appreciate every single one of them - even the ones that didn't like me very much from time to time (Well I'll be honest and say a few people have been really angry about what I've been writing and vowed to never read another single word I post. That's ok too; it's a free country and I don't resent anybody's opinion.) Guess everyone can tell that I really liked the Harry Potter books. (Up to the fourth book anyway;I appreciate the writing that went into the rest of the books but I despaired that Harry would survive.) Anyway I'm going to be telling my version of Harry's adventure through to the end. I'm sorry I ramble on a bit sometimes. The weather in upstate New York leaves me a lot of time indoors. Since I never numbered the books some people have been confused about which goes first. The order I've written the Honestly Harry series is : Getting to Hogwarts The Year of the Rock The Founders Chambers( which has A Very Granger Christmas sub-story in the middle of it), The Unplottable Discoveries The Matter of the Furious Fugitives, Greengrass Days and Paradise Nights The Year of the Spares. You should probably read the first two long stories before reading the shorter ones. The Agreement explains what happened between Ginny and Hermione before Harry gets sorted into a house and the Closest Encounters can be read after The Year of the Rock. The Not So Stories are parodies and can be read anytime. Just a little break in my mental state to get a few of the weirder ideas out of my mind Thanks again for all the reviews and the time you've spent reading what I think up in my little corner of the world.
