Author has written 9 stories for Sherlock Holmes, Avengers, Lord of the Rings, American Idiot, Star Trek: 2009, and Sherlock.
The Road goes ever on and on. Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone, and I must follow if I can.
Pursuing it with eager feet, until it joins some larger way.
Where many paths and errands meet. And whither then? I cannot say.
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT MY FAN FICTION TASTES
I am a grammar Nazi and very picky about my fan fiction. Very seldom will I read or write anything that doesn't have a decent plot and/or is not well written. Predictable or cliche stories, such as Sherlock fics that end with John and Sherlock suddenly realising their eternal love for one another all of a sudden annoy me. I like stories to have plot. Even if they're not especially exciting or mysterious, a thin plot is better than no plot at all. Another thing I dislike is when authors write canon characters that act absurdly out of character. This is fine if that's what you are going for, such as in a parody, but please, try to keep the canon personalities believable. For example, a fic that features Commander Data from The Next Generation falling deeply in love with a woman and actively pursuing a sexual relationship with her is decidedly inaccurate, to say the very least. Or writing a story in which Captain Kirk and Khan fall madly in love with one another. In no universe would this occur, all that you're trying to accomplish with this fic is to satisfy your desire for Chris Pine-Benedict Cumberbatch slash (which, admittedly, isn't that bad of an image :).
That being said...
I always leave a review. Always. Even if you have written one of the aforementioned stories, I will still review it. I consider it especially bad taste to read a story and then not drop a review. You want people to leave reviews for you; help a fellow author feel like their work is being appreciated and review!
I WILL EDIT STORIES FOR OTHER WRITERS. If you have a story that you are dying to publish, I absolutely do not mind taking a look at it for you and making sure everything lines up and the grammar is correct. Sometimes getting a second set of eyes to go over something you have written can be incredibly helpful when trying to weed out errors. ONE OF MY FAVORITE THINGS TO DO IS HELP FELLOW AND/OR YOUNGER WRITERS! I won't bite, and I am fairly nice when critiquing. IF YOU WANT ME TO LOOK AT SOMETHING FOR YOU, SEND ME A PM!

I post everything to do with Sherlock, Star Trek, Benedict Cumberbatch, especially Martin Freeman, Lord of the Rings, clever/funny GIFs, super heroes, Star Wars, video games... Pretty much anything a nerd could ask for in a blog ;).
That's about all I have to say for now! Love, LadyInglorion
