Author has written 13 stories for StarTrek: Enterprise, Merlin, Sherlock, and Gilligan's Island.
Good morning/afternoon/evening. I have been writing for FanFiction for over four years now. My interests keep expanding as I discover and rediscover the wonderful characters and stories in so many books, shows, and movies!
One thing you should know about me: I flatly refuse to be put into a box or conform to a stereotype.
Fandoms I write for/want to write for/can beta-read for: Star Trek, Merlin, Sherlock, M*A*S*H, How to Train Your Dragon, Rise of the Guardians, Brave, Tangled, Frozen, Gilligan's Island, Wizard of Oz, Once Upon A Time.
Suggestions for stories would be nice! And lots of reviews, whether you like the story or not.
"It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities.” Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
UPDATE 23/4/12: I know, I wrote a teaser for a new story in the 19th chapter of Nightmares. However, I can promise you that said story will not be posted until July at the very least. More likely, it will be August or even September before it starts!
UPDATE 22/8/12: Real life hit me in the face a few days ago and knocked me clean out of the land of free time! While I make my way back, here are some updates on my ongoing stories.
Mystery of the Dìomhran: I edited and reposted eight chapters, so please read or reread them. You might remember there being a ninth chapter. It was taking the story down a road I did not want it to take, so I deleted that chapter and am reworking it now. It is about halfway done, but I cannot say when it will be on FFN.
Teaser from Chapter 19 of Nightmares: This is by far the most complicated story I have ever written. All I can say is that it will turn up at some point, but I would like to finish Mystery first. Just bear with me on this!
UPDATE 12/2/13: Goodness gracious, I can't get a thing done with any of my open stories! And, looking at the near future, nothing will get done with them. But that's a bit pessimistic. I'll resolve to type a little each day!
UPDATE 17/5/13: Star Trek Into Darkness. If you have not seen it yet, you are seriously missing out! There is so much I would like to say about it, but most of it is spoiler-y. I will say this:
To the cast and crew of Star Trek Into Darkness, but especially to J.J. Abrams and Benedict Cumberbatch: you sneaky devils you!
In other news, I have returned to the land of free time. I will be posting a new story before the summer is out, so sit tight.
UPDATE 4/9/13: It's the tail end of summer, but I will be posting a new chapter for More Than It Seems once every three days around 14:00 UTC. All and any reviews are greatly appreciated!
UPDATE 22/10/13: As I said in More Than It Seems, I will not be able to post stories for quite some time thanks my very busy real life. I have a good idea for a series, but having the idea, writing the story, and posting it are three entirely different things! So don't worry, I haven't fallen off the face of the earth (at least, not forever).
UPDATE 2/2/14: No, this is not an announcement of my return to the land of free time. It is just a general heads-up. I have two different ideas for stories, but (surprise surprise) no time to write. At best, look for a story in May. At worst, (which is entirely more likely), look for a story in September.
UPDATE 25/4/14: It's official. I am a beta-reader! Check out Surviving Until My Last Breath by Harry Albus Potter Dumbledore.
UPDATE 7/5/14: I know, I say this far too often. I have so many story ideas, but no time to write! For now, I am beta-reading, and that's enough to tide me over.
UPDATE 16/6/14: How To Train Your Dragon 2 is, without any doubt whatsoever, a worthy sequel of the first movie! There is so much I could say about it, but I will say this much:
John Powell's music = excellent. Celtic-influenced music = excellent. Celtic-influenced music composed by John Powell = ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!
UPDATE 15/7/14: I am having more fun with my new job than I have had in a very long time. The only downside is that I now have very little time to actually write. But I'm still here, still working on the longest story I have ever written.
One new thing: Mystery of the Dìomhran is dead. I don't like it, and I don't want to take the time to revise it, let alone try to finish it. Besides, I kinda hijacked parts of Aspen's character for another story, and I like that one infinitely better. I'll leave it on the site unless I decide it really should be taken down.
UPDATE 30/8/14: That time of the year is approaching, the time when I must kiss you all goodbye and go on exile to the Land of No-Free-Time! I'll do my best to post daily Minutiae updates on the Gilligan's Island fandom. I have another, much longer, GI story that is nearly complete!
Until next time, fare thee well. May your imagination never cease to exist, and may your writing continue to give purpose to your life.
