Author has written 6 stories for Doctor Who, Harry Potter, and Torchwood.
Hi, I'm Imorgen, which means tomorrow in Norwegian. Since I'm a procrastinator in just about everything but writing, I thought it would be appropriate. In the last two years, writing has become my obsession. I started sketching out a Doctor Who story to see if I liked to write, and it turned into a novel sized monstrosity.
I've always liked Doctor Who, and will give away my age by saying I grew up watching the fourth Doctor on PBS. I discovered the new series while living overseas, and was instantly hooked. My kids love the show, too, but I made the mistake of trying to get them to watch the old episodes. Ouch. Their tolerance for bad special effects is very low, and even I have to admit that there is an awful lot of standing around and talking in the old series. Still, I remember them fondly, and often put small references to them in my work.
I joined Fan Fiction.net with the thought that I would eventually broaden my horizons and write for a few different shows. I think Sherlock is amazing, but I'm not sure I'm clever enough to try my hand at it. We'll see.
Thanks for reading my stories. And, please feel free to review, positive or negative. I'll be the first to admit that I make mistakes, and can always learn from constructive criticism. Having read hundreds of fan fiction stories before deciding to try my hand at one, I know how intimidating it can be to leave a review. As long as you're polite, no matter if the review is positive or negative, the author shouldn't be offended. And if the person is, then he or she probably shouldn't be posting. And no, you will not sound stupid.
