Ahoy! I'm Tashojiri, more commonly known as Melee, Foxfire or Simon (Tashojiri is a really old name that I should change someday). Here ye have stumbled on some of my attempts at fanfiction.

The main fanfic you'll see here is Pilot Light, a fantasy/adventure Pokémon story much more focussed on plot and character than the standard "new trainer" 'fics. It has proven quite popular and I'm really grateful to all the people who've been reading it, and especially to those who've given me feedback on it. The bad thing is that this story is notorious for taking forever between updates. Please keep in mind that I'm more focussed on my original stories, so PL is really a side project for me. A lot of my time is also taken up by other fanfiction that I write but don't post here (because it's random and disjointed - and also because it's more personal stuff that I doubt other people would be too interested in). That being said, I do have every intention of finishing PL, no matter how long that takes. I really appreciate all the patience the readers have had with me, and thank you all for reading it!

The other stuff I've posted here is mostly really old and bad and I don't really suggest reading it unless you feel like laughing at me, in which case go right ahead.

19 June 2011 - Pilot Light Chapter Forty-Two "Truce". Taylor and Adrian agree to co-operate using Kit's idea of how to escape from the cage Marlowe has them in - but Taylor doesn't exactly act according to Kit's plan . . .

The Pilot Light web site was closed when GeoCities shut down. I was never really sure how many people visited the site, so I didn't bother to find a new host for it. If people really do want to see it back, feel free to contact me and I might look into putting it back up somewhere. For now, a couple of the later PL-related pictures are still available for viewing on my DeviantArt fanart account (see below). I might submit the older ones there too if people are interested (I haven't uploaded them so far because they look really bad to me now!).
